  1. It absolutely gags me from both companies.  I think CS is a stronger one, but honestly with hating the scent it's hard to tell for me.  It always was a great fall seller so I made it.  I had to have others test for me.

  2. I have never bought from them directly, I did buy some on the classies here, well they came in a lot I bought.  The few bottles I had were good, I can't even remember the name but one was so good and when I went to reorder it they no longer had it so I didn't add as a supplier.   Lady I bought from here made perfumes only not candles or soap.

  3. We prob all got over zealous at the beginning, I don't remember that far back but I'm sure I did!  Like they said start slow with 1 container and 1 wax and several wick options.  You can find threads about pulling out a wick that you know won't work and replacing it with another.  No scent until you can get the jar/wick combo right.

Been seeing this add everywhere from Yahoo to FB. I'm not buying it. Anyone here who is a fairly good candlemaker can make one for half the price that probably burns way better too. All you really need is a good odor eliminator FO. I used to make them myself an they worked fantastic.

I agree totally, I just am a sucker and always buy others candles.  For 1 I like to see if what they say is true, like to see if I can figure out which wax it is and see how they burn.  Also I just like candles.

Looks interesting in a good way. :)  In the "comment" section on Candlescience, someone says the wax gets to 167 (according to Chandler & Me).  Isn't that too low to add fragrance oil?  I add at 180-183.

Definitely too low for some waxes.  If I add at below 175 I get droplets of fo on top of wax after it cools like it didn't bind completely.

  6. I personally think it depends where you are selling.  In your own store I think all should be the same.  I a space in a store I don't think it matters as much if you let the old run out.   If you can, run a sale on the old labeled items so they move faster.  I think I'd prob do the same at shows, discounted basket or table.

  7. Love many of their oils and I think they are one of the few that shipping is cheap on oils.  Their shipping options tell you exactly how many  8 oz or 1# bottles will fix in a box and I love knowing that ahead of ordering.

  8. I get the heating and stirring aspect but C3 has to cool before you pour it or it's a nightmare so how would that work?  Also if adding fragrance to it you might not want a huge vat of the same fo but def more than 10 oz so maybe the bigger one.  My other concern would be cleaning out the old fo to start a new one.  IDK I think it is a great idea that needs much thought?
