  7. Did anyone notice that these container instructions are from the CT site of Basic Instructions? Riempire, come nella foto, fino quasi all’orlo, senza colmare completamente. Lasciare asciugare, ci vogliono circa 6 ore. Chiudere e decorare.
  8. I was getting ready to make a light box and my hubby came home with a Studio in a box he found at Wal-mart. He had bought me an excellent camera for my birthday and then last week he bought this studio. It comes with 2 studio lights, camera tripod, the box with 3 back grounds, Blue, Black and white and a carrying case for 50 dollars.. I love it and have been using the heck out of it. My MIL has started doing ebay and I have been doing her pics for her,,,I LOVE it. I use Paint shop pro for my editing and enhancing and such,,,Thought I would share this with all of you. Im hoping to get some pics of my candles done when I get my MIL situated,,,

  11. HI Liberty, What is the name of the wax? And how much scent and color was she using per LB of wax? The reason I ask is because I use 25% container wax and 75% Pillar wax (4625) and when someone else comes on they will ask you for all that. I am sorry I can not be of much help but there will be someone that will chime in soon to help,,,
  12. Vybar 103? Im willing to try many different ways at this point,,LOL,,, Thank you.
  13. Hi Jay, I have not done any as of yet but I have a book called " the encyclopedia of Candle making Techniques" by Sandie Lea ISBN 0-7624-0601-1 and she does them in the book and they look awesome. It is on my to-do-list for the future. HTH,,,,
  14. Thanks Karen for answering. Okay I will try it and see how it goes. I usually always pour around 170,,Thank you again!!
  15. If its a full jar I dont recommend placing your jar upside down in the oven,,Put it on a cookie sheet as the others have said and let it melt and then pour (if not using again) into a large coffee can or I have a huge pickle jar I put wax Im not using again into. HTH
  16. HI Everyone, I have had a case of IGI-4625 for a little while now, I guess about 4 months. After making my candle baskets for the silent auction I opened my other box and the wax LOOKS fine. I put it in the presto pot, melted it (noticed a wee bit of popping)< it went away,,,Used Peaks FO's poured pillars and votives like I always do, and they looked okay when I de-molded them and after about 8 hours they started to fingernail!!!!! Now whats with that???? The only time I ever had problems with fingernailing I was using gemlites FO, After I stopped using them it quit....So now what do you all think??? HELP ME PLEASE?! Edited to add: I bought this case in the classys so I cant call a distributor. I looked in the archive and seen Allens suggestion on cooking the wax at 225 for thirty minutes kinda scared to do that.
  17. Oh wow thay look Beautiful without color!!
