  1. If you make soap, you might want to try to make a batch with pine tar and some neem. I havent tried the pine tar, but I know the neem helps alot. I have eczema and psoriasis so I have been in need of something bad. The only thing is not to add to much of the neem though because it doesnt smell good so Id find a good strong scent to go with it. Ive heard the pine tar stinks too, so I know a lot of people add E.O.'s to cover the smell. HTH
  2. WOW Looks like you've been busy. Great soaps! Its impossible to pick a favorite, but I do love the full moon
  3. Not to hi-jack this thread, but are there any preservatives that are vegan, and if so what is the best kind to use for lotion? I tried researching but all the searching and technical terms just made me go crazy
  4. I usually keep mine in my husbands studio which I have taken over with my supplies What I usually do is store them on a cooling rack for a day on a shelf then transfer them to the shelf by themselves. What Im wondering is how everyone else does it since Im running out of room LOL
  5. Beat me to it LOL. Im almost positive this is still in effect since I checked I think it was last month.
  6. hope this helps http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49806&highlight=peaks+discount
  7. One or two of BW new f.o.'s, I just can't decide which ones LOL
  8. I don't think its to perfumy. If this helps my brother (who doesnt even care for flowers LOL) said it smells like a real rose. Also the choc milk smells like real choc milk IMO, palm tree is another good one.
  9. Violet lime Golden rose Himalayan bamboo......I LOVE THIS SCENT!
  10. Ive had great luck with all of them in soy. Then Ive soaped Pink chocolate, honey gingerbread, bay leaf & black pepper......I cant think right now LOL Im in the process of testing her new oils, I couldnt resist LOL I ordered all 9. They all smell GREAT OOB, and have a GREAT cold throw.
  11. Hmmmmm.... I'd have to say Backwoods, then Candlescience. I haven't found any that I didn't like from Backwoods and that didnt throw GREAT in 100% soy.
  12. Ya I know! I ordered all 9 new scents LOL poured 6 of them last night and Im going to start testing probably tomorrow. So far though they all have a GREAT cold throw. I can't wait to burn it.
  13. Ive used some of their oils in the past and was happy. I havent ordered from them recently though, and can't remember what I ordered LOL but they threw great in 100% soy. Dont know if I helped at all.

  16. Nope nothing extra, I need to find out what type of material he used EXACTLY, all I know is its for boats but it doesnt even feel waxy.
  17. LOL, I told him he needs to start making more and sell them he just shrugged said he did it for my bday Now I think its time to get him to make me another one, and maybe a log mold too
  18. Well I cut them They were still a bit soft but I couldn't wait any longer. I was curious how good the mold was and if it would stick. I know with the do-right log mold that I have it usually sticks some and my dad used that mold as a guide line except made it a slab mold instead of a log mold......but I dont think he bought the same material to make it. It doesnt have the same feel to it but IMO does a lot better. I guess he used some type of material that you buy at a marine shop for boats. Plus he spent $75 on a small piece of this stuff I guess. All that matters top me is it worked!!!!! It slide right out but when I was cutting it I butchered it LOL so when it hardens more, Ill have to trim them up some. Im so excited. The colors even went all the way through, I was worried theyd stay JUST on the top.
  19. I love them! Especially the white tea & ginger. Looks like you've been busy.
  20. Thanks everyone I can't wait to unmold it! I think its a little too soft right now. Mine takes a little longer to harden since I keep it vegan and use more of the softer oils. It's so hard to be patient. Thank you Scented, I can't wait to get those colors from the co-op to try some others The bottle and website said it was CP safe when I bought it so I sure hope it is LOL I didnt have any problems with this batch so I hope it turns out ok.
  21. Thank you I have my fingers crossed on the colors. SO far Im really happy with the mold, it hasnt leaked so that's a good sign LOL hopefully my soap will release from it when the time comes.
  22. I just had to brag. Im so excited, for my bday my dad made me a new soap mold so I had to try it out! This is my first time trying swirls, I don't think they turned out too bad......I hope it holds it's color though (celestial neon pink and neon purple) This is a CP batch scented with NG's Lick me all over.....HUGE seller in candles so I figured I'd try to CP it since I didnt get my new oils yet from BW.
  23. f.o. AND coloring make a BIG difference when testing and are you saying you double wicked a 10 oz jar with two eco 2's? because if thats the case you should be able to use a larger size wick to get a full melt pool
