  1. Oooohhhh.....beautiful soaps, as always! I bet they smell as good as they look! I'm so tickled to see the TKB colors at play! Though Chameleon is out of stock at the moment. :undecided That grape pop looks awesome! I have such a problem w/ purples. LOL. Now I think I'll have to add colorona bordeaux to my list......ok, quit it now. My list is too long now! Hugs, Donna
  2. ohhh....let me pull up my list.... Lime Sugar Summer Strawberry Cappuccino Margarita Peppermint Ice Ok...I think those are all that I have tried from there. They are awesome. Donna
  3. Completely diet friendly, I swear!!!! My latest little soapies. Bert's Andes Thin Mint. OMG...it smells AWESOME!!!! It is a fast mover, and I read on the Scent Review Board it would discolor...so I pulled off some to tint green before adding the FO. And it does discolor....a lovely dark rich chocolate. I can not tell you how good these smell on my curing rack. That whole side of the house smells so good! I found myself foraging for chocolate today. LOL. 'scuse my rough looking edges....I was using my new TOG mold w/ dividers and the dividers didn't want to let go of the soap. So I ripped them off! Who's hungry?? Donna
  4. Oh yes....definately the Dan's Bands from MMS. They are awesome. PM me your address and I'll mail you a few to try! Donna
  5. Angi, the Pop colors are listed under the soap colorants. You are good to go! Donna
  6. Thanks for that, Nancy! It is very helpful. I've already taken 24k gold off my list. Donna
  7. :laugh2: <sniff!> Sorry! Here's one more tip for you.....weigh out your FO and then set it INSIDE your mold. If you forget to add it, when you go to pour your soap, you will see it and remember. Now I just add the FO straight to my oils before adding the lye, unless it is an FO that discolors. It does accelerate trace sometimes, but I haven't had unscented soapies in awhile now. (Gosh, I just love this smiley!) BTW...those swirls totally rock. I might just have to get out my slab mold and swirl something soon. I've been sticking to my log molds for awhile now and I can't swirl for &*^% in them. LOL. Hugs, Donna
  8. Ditto what Sue and Julie have said. I ran your numbers through soap calc too and to get to 8.5 oz of lye your superfat is at 17.9%!! :shocked2: Bodes high for DOS...IMO. Did you get this recipe from somewhere? Do you know how to formulate recipes with a lye calculator? Donna
  9. Girl.....I got some fugly nassy soaps that make yours look PURDY!!! Send Michi half...send me the other half. I'm swirl impared....so I'm no help. LOL.
  10. Those are too cute! Great idea...I don't think I've ever seen anyone use cookie cutters before. <sniff> I want one now.....LOL. Hugs, Donna
  11. Wow! That is very cool looking. No need for shades here! (I was expecting neons..haha) The texture looks almost like whipped soap. Very nice looking soaps! Donna
  12. My. You have been a busy girl this week! Now....there is at least 3 things you've made this week that I want one of. Where do I put in my order????? Muah, Donna
  13. Well, I was really expecting to have my new TOG mold to play with this weekend! GRRRRRRRRRR So, now I think I am going to pout and not do anything soap related. So there! I do have a bunch of new oils I wanted to play with....some AH/RE oils and some BW oils and some Bert's oils.....<big sigh>. Yes, I think I'm going to be a drama queen and pout. Maybe I'll make some body butter/lotion without the fantasy creme maker this weekend. Donna
  14. <....quietly adds Chameleon to the ever-growing list....>
  15. hmmmm...was the superfat and lye concentration...and...crap, the three at the top...all the same?? Damned good question!
  16. I've never added oatmeal to HP...but I would think you could add it the same time as your FO....just make sure to blend well. HTH! Donna
  17. A spraying skunk?? Oh my! I wonder if my DH would like that? Whose FO do you have? I have Solas...but haven't soaped it. BUT....LOVING the colors and the swirls. Now...that shimmery reddish color you got going on.....what is that? I need some shimmers. Badly. Muah! Donna
  18. Oh, honey.....you know I love you to death! Um....Meringue is spelled wrong. Unless you were going for the ballroom dance "Merengue"...in which case, I'll shut up.
  19. Girl...they be upside down! <snort> Donna
  20. Did you have a chance to get all the oils emulsified? If so, it's probably fine. But be sure to test it. Personally, *I'm* a closet soap licker. LOL. Donna
  21. hmmm....if I remember (and I'm too lazy just now to dig out my notes)...it's 90% olive oil, 5% castor 5% babassu, no scent, no color. I made it in March....in November when I used it...I got sort of a slimey coating on my skin and on the bar and then it worked into little bubbles. Sort of....wellllll......snotty feeling. I don't care how wonderfully moisterizing it is....we've gotta cure out that snotty stuff some more. Just wondered if HPing would cut the cure time down much. Donna
  22. Hmpf....you just never hear about anyone HPing castille/bastille type soaps. I guess if it's still slimey.....well then it wouldn't cut down on the cure time any/much. I just went and looked...on the one bar that I made 9 months ago...I have one orange spot on one side and 3 yellow-about-to-turn-orange spots on the other. GRRRRR Donna
  23. They shut down about August/September (?) of last year to do some construction on their home. I've not heard if/when they will be returning to making soap molds. Donna
  24. I've never tried the WSP one...so I can't help you there. I think they higher % of FO would definately be for the room spray. I thought I had an email from Steve ant The Candlemaker's Store, but either I imagined it, deleted it or just can't find it! GRRRRR
