    Do I dare get in here lol I like clamshells because you don't have to worry about molds and packaging cause you have it all in one. Break off a couple of pieces and close the shell up till next time. I like tarts too cause you can sell a bunch of different scents for like a buck each. For my personal use, I prefer clamshells. Did that make sense? lol

    Hi, I'm just starting to make lotions and body mist. I'll be going to Seattle the end of Sept. Does anyone know any suppliers in that area that I could pick up supplies from? If I could get it there and bring it home with me I"d save oddles in shipping costs. TIA Aloha

    I'd melt 2 lbs of wax add 1tsp of UV then use 3 pour pot or pyrex, or like eugenia said above, add more wax to the left over of the previous layer. Measure out 10 oz wax ea and then add fo and color to each. I'd use .6oz per 10 oz of wax (6% load) , if my math is right :undecided The left over you can make a votive or tarts

    Once you get the tab with the stickum centered in your container (jar or tin), you need to make sure it's secured. I use a chopstick and press all around the tab so the entire tab is secured to the bottom of the container.

    I started out with hot glue. Now I use wick stick ums. Fast, easy, and no mess.

    ditto this I"ve used my stronget scents in them moonlight path pineapple love spell and I"ve gotten real good throw they slide our real easy from my alum molds
