  1. Mine are too. *lol* Here, I'll go take a pic of mine so you can laugh. I'll also see about getting those other 2 out of that mold.
  2. They smelled my whole house up last night, but now there doesn't seem to be a smell. I have to go out later today, so I'll see when I come back in if it still smells. Those little mold things....when I took the rubber band off and started to pull it apart, it was still wet and started to separate. Guess that wasn't such a good idea. *lol* Did you color yours??
  3. Ok, it's after midnight and I have made the scented rocks and a few different scented milk baths. About a month ago I found what I thought was soap molds, still not sure if they are...anyways, they have a baby duck in them and a babys block with alphabet letters on it. It's 2 pieces. So I took some of the scented rocks and put them inside this mold and covered it with the other half, then wrapeed a thick rubber band around it to hold it together. Will this work? I have no clue. *lol* I will check it in the morning. How did yours turn out morningstar??
  4. Most say that war is over...unless you're in my house while I'm PMS-ing!!!
  5. 2006??!! Has she been forgiven yet?? Just looked, it WAS 2006, in FEB!!!! *lmao*

DTs have been averted, but now I'm in the shame stage, coupled by a little of denial (no! I did NOT buy a Yankee!) and perhaps next will be a little anger (damn it, self! what have you done feeding the corporate, mediocre product machine?!) and perhaps I'll get to acceptance soon...but right now, I just needed to confess. Danie sneaks off furtively sniffing her beloved cranberry chutney tarts whispering "my preeeeeeciousssssssssssssss" I'm sorry. I am from the deep South and this just sounded really funny! I live with a Southerner, he thought this was funny too. But me being originally from New York, find it hard to laugh. Just kidding. By the way, I too think you should make everyone a home made pillar that has posted.
  7. Oh yeah! Meatloaf girl! *lol* I have no idea if you could use sea salt. I don't see why not?? I hate saying that in case it's not a good idea. If it were me, I'd try it. But then again, I want to try everything on this site!! *lol* I really thought I had bought rock salt the other day, but if I did, then I've lost it. I just finished making mine, I used Mortons salt, just the regular stuff. I rolled them into balls and used neon colored food coloring. *lol* They just look like balls of playdough. *lol* I'm now looking for some cookie cutters, maybe I can make shapes out them. The colors are Easter colors. Pastels. I don't know why they call them neon, they are pastel.
  8. 1/2 cup plain flour 1/2 cup salt 1/4 tsp EO 2/3 cup boiling water food coloring In bowl, mix dry ingredients well. Add EO to boiling water then this to dry ingredients. Scent will be strong but will fade slightly when dry. For colored stones, blend in food coloring, one drop at a time until desired shade is reached. Blend ingredients and form balls. Allow stones to dry. Place stones in a bowl or dish to scent a room. I copied this from a thread here that dcroome listed. I think it was #83 on that list. I hope I did this right.
  9. here ya go with the recipe....hold on one sec....I need to type this all out....
  10. I REALLY need a measurement converter. I bought these glass eye droppers for the FO's but there are no measurements on them. The recipe calls for 1/4 tsp of EO, but I am using FO. Rock salt huh? And I just bought a box of neon colored food coloring. *lol*
  11. I will morningstar. I walked in the kitchen and stirred up the dry ingredients and then remembered that dinner might be a nice change for my fiance, so I'll make the rest of this after the Sloppy Joes are done. I don't want dinner to smell like FO. Fast easy dinner so I can get on with more important things!
  12. Thanks morningstar!! I am on my way right now to make them....
  13. sudsnwicks, When I was growing up I always thought Grandmas could make anything. Mine could, so I assumed. Now I'm a Grandma, and I can't make...squat! *lol*:embarasse
  14. Wow! I am literally going to make these today, like in a few minutes...I was just told I could use FO's instead of EO's. Which are you using? I don't know how long with the hardening.
  15. Hey Kaybee...if you convince Brat to move closer to you...then can I convince you 2 to move closer to me? I'm in Nevada...so you'll be use to the heat. I can't even thread this new sewing machine!
  16. Meridith, You can glue?? I am soo jealous! *lol* I am officially "creatively challenged". I asked CT if I can change my name...and this is the name I'd like to have. Creatively Challenged. I haven't heard from them yet. I might have sent it to the wrong person. Texas Brat...your work is beautiful.
  17. Just buy it and tell him later how nice he was for buying it!!
  18. I have a brand new sewing machine and tons of material. Can I sew? Umm...no. I tried to make this cute Barbie sundress for my grand daughter....ended up in a shredded wad in the washer.:embarasse So I love seeing her purses. Even the ones she doesn't like.
  19. In my best valley girl voice...Like...totally tubular! (shaking head from side to head). *still wondering what she does with the ones she doesn't like* *lol*
  20. Soooo ummmm....what do you do with the ones you don't like?? Inquring minds would like to know. *lol*
  21. Ohhhh cute! Would you mind sharing how you did it? My grand daughter is a Daisy, and her mother is their leader. They will be doing a Luau this summer!
  22. Edited to add...I'll just check out the threads here for this kind of stuff. I am sooo glad you guys helped me with this.
