  1. Hmmm....I'm a grama too, I guess I never thought that if something looks like the top of a penis to me ~ means I have a gutter mind. Sorry island girl, I never read that dip it thread. *L* But the rest of you are right, it's a really nice blog.
  2. I'm sure I only noticed because you said to look at the left. I looked too closely. *lol* And besides...opinions are like...(insert body part here)...everyone has one.
  3. Don't listen to me though, I know nothing. Just ask anyone. *lol*
  4. What popped through my mind was that the inside of the flowers looked like little penis'. I don't mean to offend, but you asked. *L* ETA: Like the tops of a little penis is what I should have said.
  5. Hey lexismommy, I just read your private message to me about sending you a copy of my ebook, only today. I very rarely come on here anymore. Anyways, I wouldn't have been able to send you a copy since it is password protected. Charmie is a good girl, she's a full time student with a job as well with tons going on, thats why she stopped selling the book. Its too bad you had the wrong email addy because she always responds immediately. I have bought from her on the classies as well as her sites. She's awesome to deal with. Anyways, I was foolish too a few years ago for not saving something I should have. Lesson learned. Now that this is resolved, I hope everyone can just move on.
  6. :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: It's working and printing! HOORAY!!! I uninstalled and then reinstalled! Technology scares the hell out of me...especially the spendy stuff! Anyways...thank you everyone.:highfive:
  7. I did it! It worked! You guys are awesome! Thank you sooo much! I thought I had broken it when I started seeing color coming onto that tape. Now I'm trying to print stuff out to see how it looks. My son hooked it all up and did the hooking up of this thing and THEN I see down at the bottom on #6 where it says..."Do NOT connect USB until prompt." Ummm...yeah, he did that before the prompt, so now nothing prints. Back to the drawing board I guess....ahhhh....such frustration! Maybe if I uninstall it and reinstall it, would that help?
  8. Ok wait, you guys have me all excited...I'm trying to put a pic on here so you can see what I've done and tell me if I've gone too far cause there is ink on this tape now.
  9. I'm afraid to touch the others! *lol* They are still the way they came, with all this orange stuff hanging off them. So far I can't find anything online that helps. I am itching to make stuff, this is killing me! Thanks!
  10. I finally broke down and bought one of these babies and now I think I broke it. It came with all this orange tape everywhere so I pulled it off. Then I saw these orange plastic things hanging off of each ink thing. So I started to pull it off, and then this tape started coming out from the inside. I pulled a little more and now there is red ink on this tape. I tried calling the HP number but they are closed until tomorrow. The directions just showed a picture that I couldn't make out. I'm sure I broke it. Anyone remember what they did with these things when they first got theirs?
  11. Thanks you guys! And yep so-soy, I'd say theres more in this ebook for sure. The sticky up top is great, but this ebook has a lot more to it. It's great for me, definitely something I needed. Trust me, I did everything wrong for my 1st 2 shows. *lol* Everything! I was LMAO as I was reading this ebook, seeing every mistake I made and wanting to slap my forehead. No....not one of those "aha" Oprah moments either. More like..."Now why didn't I think of that! That would have been cool!".... kind of thing, all the way through it. I'll be more prepared in July, and ready to put it all in action. The first 2 shows were a learning lesson...on what not to do. *lol* I'll be keeping notes as each of the 3 days go by, and see what happens. I already feel better about doing this show. Thank you all for the well wishes!
  12. Thank you celicagtca!! Now I'm excited! At least this time around I now feel way better prepared and lots more organized. I swear the last 2 times, my table looked as scattered as my brain was! It was not a pretty picture. *lol* Just the peace of mind I already have knowing I have the right info makes it worth it. I don't mean to sound like a salesman, but for me personally, it's already the best 29 bucks I have probably spent.
  13. I've only done 2 craft shows and they were pretty small. It was embarrassing, all the stupid things I did! *lol* The worst part was, both shows were in my small town, where I already know just about everyone, so they got to see me struggle, turn red, and leave early both times. It's pretty bad when BUYERS are standing at my table telling me..."Well honey...maybe you should set this up over here, and this over there"....kind of a thing. And it got worse after that. *lol* This 3 day show coming up at the end of July, I wasn't gonna do it. I figured I had humiliated myself enough. *lol* But now, after reading this ebook, I have confidence. I'm gonna do the show even though I'm scared to death. *lol* At least I know what to do now, before, during and after the show.
  14. Thank you Luci and hometowncandles. I didn't put this on here so that some could get their kicks out of putting down someone that is very new to craft shows. A bridge? Please. Try to at least be a little more creative.:rolleyes2 ANYWAYS....I am really glad I bought it. It has things in it I never would have thought of. It gives you great tips on how to set up your tables, it tells you great promotional ideas, etc. It even has a 3 page checklist, as well as an evaluation form to see if a show was worth it. I wish I would've found this book sooner. It basically tells you everything you need to know in one book. Plus, you can email the author if you have any specific questions or would like to know more about something. It has already saved me hours and hours of searching for information that I just don't have time for. Especially having satellite internet. One little cloud decides to go by and boop...there goes my connection. I have spent months searching for stuff, writing it down, losing different pages of the notes, all that good stuff. Now I have it in one spot, all put together. I have a ton of cookbooks too Luci. I just love all the information right at my fingertips, right where I left it last, instead of turning this beast on and searching for hours. Quick, easy, and more than convenient. This book was well worth it. And that's coming from someone that actually read it.
  15. I have a 3 day show coming up and now I don't have to stress out over what to do, what to bring, how to do things, etc. And that's because I bought this off of a fellow CT member! www.craftshowebook.com It has everything in there, including a check list so you just mark stuff off as you prepare! It's really awesome and tells me everything I need to know to get ready, be prepared, and have successful shows!
  16. Maybe I'll search out how to make them. But if I had to be creative, it's a no go for me. *L* Molds are what I've been looking around for as well. I thought someone had posted a place where they teach you how to make them. It was some 2 or 3 day thing in NY or somewhere. I'll have to do some research.
  17. Awesome! Good luck! Can't wait to see pictures!
  18. Ok, had to google her. *L* I don't have TV channels. I don't have telephone poles where I live, so the 60 bucks a month I pay for internet is more than enough for my entertainment. I would have been smarter to just keep cable instead, it was cheaper than me on this net ordering stuff! *lol*
  19. Who is Rachel Ray? It's not that I don't watch "enough"...I don't watch at all. Guess that answered that reaction.
  20. Wow! I need to pay attention when I go to these companies! I didn't even realize they did this. *lol* edited to add...But I did get a sample of something called Soft Poppy Jojoba Spheres from the soapjar and learned what it is a little while ago. I wasn't really sure why she sent it yesterday, now I see. DUH! *running for the brown hair dye....AGAIN!*
  21. I got my first sample from Lorrie on this board. I thought it was sweet that she did that! I never expected someone to send me a sample of something. It was really nice of her to do.
  22. That is adorable! What a great gift too!
