  1. They may not have turned out like you wanted but they look awesome.
  2. The Blend HEB Plus is one of my favorites because it is soooooo thick! You do need to add a bit of distilled water to thin it down but I love the way it doesn't get all soupy when you add fo . I also use the Blend 213 and Blend NBB (both are good shampoos) and the Blend BBC Bubble Bath isn't bad but I use the heb plus for bubble bath and shower gel etc. I have used the Aloe Body Wash from BC and when you add fo it gets very thin.
  3. I'm not a pro but I like the way the finished bar of CP looks. For some reason HP looks kind of rough ( at least mine does) and CP makes a nice smooth bar.
  4. When I get home I'll check it out. There is one of the multi uses that I like a lot but I need the bottle the check and see which one it is and yes I saw that price 2 days after I had placed an order:undecided I'll post later after I check the bottles.
  5. The Chemistry Store http://www.chemistrystore.com/ has several different formulations and I have tried and like them all. In fact I order the shampoo and conditioner for family use. You can get a 4 qt. sample pack for $22.00 and they have frequent sales. For now they are located down in Pompano but are moving to S.Carolina which I'm hating!! I have been spoiled by ordering one day and having it on my porch by the next day. They also have a nice variety of supplies for B&B
  6. If I find some to fit the tealight cups I have, then I plan on making the wax to fit the wicks so to speak.
  7. I have googled and looked at supplier sites until I'm crosseyed. I need some tealight wicks that fit the cups I have. 10-15mm base with 3mm neck (Thanks for that info Cet) At this point I don't care if they are zincs, lx or whatever.
  8. I e-mailed them and received 5 free samples (2oz size) before I ever placed an order. Their cust.service is not the best in as far as I never received a shipping notice and had to call them to find out where my order was after 3 weeks of not hearing anything. I ordered 15 lbs. of premium assorted dupes. because they had all of the ones I wanted and it saved me from having to order from a dozen different suppliers. They are all good and smell true to the original. Primarily I use them in B&B ( only tried 1 in CP and it was a disaster which I had to assume was the fo since it was a tried and true soap recipe) The only wax I've put them in is tarts so I can't say how they would do in candles.
  9. That happens to me when the mold is too cool or when I don't pour hot enough.
  10. Dang E, so glad it didn't get in your eye! Thanks for posting the pic. It's a good reminder for all of us to be careful even after we put the lye away. I have splashed raw soap on my arm above my gloves and that stuff smarts!
  11. I only tried one and I didn't like it. Also the top cracked after one use ( I pour at 200) I think Rob has used these without a problem. I noticed they are on sale at candlewic so I was thinking about giving one another try.

    Leg Wax

The first time I tried waxing my legs (20 yrs ago) I did two strips and said never again!! But-- when the hair started growing back in I noticed that the waxed section didn't have any hair for 6 weeks so I decided to give it another try. After waxing for a while the skin becomes desensitized and it really doesn't hurt but it's messy ( I only used zip-wax ) so when I was given my first EpiLady I loved it!!! Now I hardly have any hair on my legs at all. If you wax a couple of times and then use the EpiLady it doesn't hurt at all and you will never want to be bothered with shaving again.
  13. I don't even want to think about it
  14. Peppermint Lavender Patchouli All of the Citrus
  15. The throw in palm isn't as strong as in parrafin but I have never had the wax smell overtake the fo but the palm I use doesn't have much of an odor. Yes a lot of peeps have changed their name. I think there is a thread on off topic that has some old and new names. Oh and no need to add palm steric jenniejr
  16. The cinnamon bun is a favorite all year.
  17. Last year I ordered a LOT of Fall/Winter fo's. When the orders started coming in they were ALL for various fruit/floral or what I consider Spr/Sum type fo's. Go figure.
  18. Several of us here have done extensive testing on wicking those nasty little 2" pillars without success. I finally gave up on it due to extreme frustration because like you said, either the flame was too wimpy or you get a blowout. I think EB Candles (Carmen) did find a wick for them but I can't remember which one it was and it didn't work for me. Good Luck!
