  1. I use the powder now and we have hard water also. I've gotten blood out with it and just yesterday a ink cartridge hubby refilled squirted all over me and it took it right out. I put baking soda & washing soda in mine. Adding orange eo's helps degrease too!
  2. I usually do 16 oz too, but I heard you can store the paste in the fridge until you need it to dilute.
  3. Really cute! I can't seem to find that seller though can you help?
  4. Soap porn at its best! Love it
  5. EOU has this compound and it's the best I have found. It is spot on & a good price. http://essentialoils.org/shop/oil/3103
  6. Do you let it go through the gel phase?
  7. I'm so glad it worked the 2nd time around. My 1st batch was a bust too lol. Do you have Catherine Failor's book on liquid soap making? It really is a fab book w/lots of good info. I'm always still learning though
  8. I like using the summer bee meadows calculator for liquid soap. Did you use a crockpot? Why did you sf at 5%, just curious. I always thought temps didn't matter with liquid soap when you are getting a trace. I usually use the crockpot and didn't have problems. Maybe someone else can help.
  9. Sweet tooth I don't rename. Everyone's nose is different though, I smell lots of cherries, sugar frosting, cookies etc.
  10. Do you use the water or oil based ones?
  11. Cool, I'll have to try that out

  14. I haven't heard good things about their fo either, but their eo interests me. I'm about 30 minutes from them too.

  16. Anyone ever seen a dupe of purple roses? I just love the scent of them, but never seen a fo for it.
  17. You can check out the soap scent review board also. One of my favorites from them is rose in CP it's just lovely. Their chocolate fudge is drooling good in cp too
  18. I don't neutralize anymore since I use summerbees calc I'm not sure what you would sf it at for shampoo though. So far I haven't had luck with the shampoo I have made. It could be my hard water though.
  19. Oy that's a bummer, I loathe rebatching lol
  20. Really? I didn't find it weak at all, but I used it in soy wax. Goes to show you every nose is different Love their birthday cake too!
