  1. I have started to add my FO at 175 as suggested by others however I did get great hot/cold throw on my creme brulee. I did NOT get good hot throw on my spiced pear FO that I'm burning now. I just completed my 4th test for a total of 12.45 burn hours and have come up with 40.22 total burn time for my 8 oz container. pretty good!!!!
  2. 2nd burn on candle.... 3 hr burn and calculated the figures to come up with 39.38 hrs. The second burn calculation went up over 2 hrs to burn the candle. I think I conquered it! hah.... Have a great week everyone...
  3. . Judy - I plan to burn it all the way. I'm keeping track of it all the way through.... Is there a website or reference I can use for minimum burn time based off of what container you use? Thanks Judy!
  4. TESTed burn on 8 oz. Jelly jar (total of 6.2 oz of wax) 6% FO of Creme Brulee Put FO into wax at 125 degrees EZSOY wax ECO8 size wick. Comments: after 3 hrs and 15 minutes: great 1/4 melt pool, good burn, decent hot throw. I ran the burn time calculator on this site and came up with a total of 37.23 hrs to burn the candle. Is there an average burn rate per ounce of wax in a candle or does it vary based off of wax used, container, etc.? Thanks!
  5. Teresa or Ma'am - I think you might need to quit sniff'n all them FO's. RELAX... OK, I meant to save my Lovely Wife... I was trying to distinguish what her preference is versus mine.
  6. bravo - make sure the period is out of the address you copied above. it is reeff@yahoo.com If you decided something else no problem....
  7. when orders start coming in.. I forsee anytime within the next 3 months....
  8. I live in Illinois and am interested in selling my products (candles, ornies, tarts) wholesale. Can anyone provide some information on marketing tactics, informational websites etc??? Would anyone be interested in buying my products to incorporate with their existing product line???? p.s. Has anyone had an experience with www.godaddy.com? Thanks for the input.
  9. Bravo - I live in Naperville, IL. I'd be interesting in discussing this further with you. Drop me an email at reeff@yahoo.com. Corey
  10. grama - where did you get your hand tags and how did you go about creating them? They look great!
  11. What do you get for %$7 a month? Is this for hosting services as well and ecommerce? I'm looking on godaddy.com now and it looks like the basic package to have them host the website and for ecommercy capabilities would be $8.99 for a 12 month contract. Any thoughts?
  12. Does anyone have any recommendations or experiences in dealing with 3rd party services that other the ability to build yoru own website through there templates, etc.? I know godaddy.com offers it as well as hosting services. Anyone been through them or others? I want to put together a website however want to make sure I select a decent one upfront. I can get a URL plus hosting for around $4.50 a month for a year. let me know -

  14. tryppnotic - What type of wax do you use iwth your melts in the pictures? Do you have problems with smearing on the package within the circle from the melts? I have problms with smearing when I put my melts in and when they move around, etc. I use EZSOY. Not sure if it is just the type of wax that will do that or if it is the bags. Any experience from others as well?
  15. I use EZSOY w/ a little coconut oil. Great FO's so far... The wife loves Lavender Basil. I like Creme Brulee. I also found some molds at Hobby Lobby if you want to get creative with seashells, bears and ducks. Each one only cost me $1.27. They come right out of the molds. I plan to go get more.. The only problem is each of the molds are in the range of .3 to .6 ounces. That just means I have to put more in a bag if and when I plan to sell them. I've read people make them at 1 oz each for a total burn of 8 hrs.
