5% sometimes 6%...depends on scent..but with this one..i dont know cause it already had some (i remelted a candle down to test a votive forever) & added just .25 oz to the wax...the smell was very light. mold cooled on my stove with A/C off so no drafts. Not sure what happened. Its prettt oily now that i feel it again...probably to much oil

can anyone tell me what happened here? Why did my starburst palm forever turn out like this..its oily too...so thinking its to much F.O..this is a candle I remelted to experiment with votive glass forevers. I added about .25 more F.O. to the already light & poor smelling candle..so thought it would;nt hurt it..its just a testers so wasn't to afraid to do it. I heated mold (like always) & heated wax to 200 (like always)..did nothing different....

What dye did you use for the black...chips, liquid??? I cant get my liquid to get that dark without having to put the whole bottle in.....

Once my scent is gone, i just let it cool & pop warmer in the freezer. Let the wax get hard & it slides right out of the warmer. Toss it in some wax I melting or just toss in the trash...Pop in another tart & start all over!

Does anyone else get arm cramps pouring tea lights? Is there an easier way? I cant seem to not make a mess either..i always "OVER POUR'em)

they are melting my tarts & smelling real good, but dont seem to last but 4 hours. I buy the ones from wal-mart (on occasion) & they last forever

So 4 hours is good???..I lite it at 8:30am & it went out about 1pm

I made some soy (escosoya 135) Tea lights with CS TL 28's wicks. I only got about 4 hours worth of burn...was thinking i should have got atleast 6 hours..was I wrong..or should I wick down to get a longer burn????? Help!

Here is my test burn with HTP 62 (all I had in the house at the time)...need opinions.....I believe this is after 2 hours

I couldn't get a full MP with the HTP 1212's. I have now put in 2 HTP-62 (all i had in the house here) but not quite..i have to go up again...Great throw though...My whole computer room which is very large smells like Mom's Apple Pie. Thanks for the info..

have you test burned those yet? What wick did you use...just curious

I never could get yellow to come out pretty..it ws always to light or to dark...but this one I love. NO scent, although I'm making "tulip" scented tea lights tomorrow!!!

I need to find a wicking tool for double wicking a 16 oz tin. I cant get my wicks straight to save my life. Does anyone know where I can buy something like this? I know they are out there but i cant seem to find the site.

what wick do you use (when double wicking)..i singled wicked mine with HTP 1212 & no where near a full MP. What should I try next???

just remelt & take the cup out once wax is melted. I use a pair of my DH pliers...SHHHH..he doesnt know that!

I thought the same thing when I started making them. I said never again will I wick another Pillar. I just put the tea light (plastic cup) in the glass tea light cup so when the tea light is done all I have to do is take that empty tea light & replace with another. There is no taking out of the wick tab cause its in the plastic cup..i'm throwing away. Make sense? My glass tea light is (IN) the candle. You don't take the glass tea light out.

Same here, I've never made with votives, but with tea lights & have never had any of mine melt & thats all I do (as far as pillars). Where is it melting at?
