They are forever candles..(no wicks)..its not glass glow it is the pillar wax..starburst & feather wax combined together. sorry for the confusion.

I saw the undyed palm in the glass glow & thought "man that would be beautiful in a pillar" so tried it & yes, its gorgeous...cant really see it in the pics....but oh man it turned out great.

I just saw your post on the business side of things & WOW!!!...that was a great set up..gave me lots of great ideas. I dont do containers right now, only the forevers & tea lights & tarts, but I dont scent my pillars either, but I scent my tea lights to go with the pillars...Hoping people like that idea..i just noticed that if i scented the pillar you had to stick with one kind of scented tea light, you cant change it up any..The scent of the pillar clashes with the tea light if you do so. I'm going to get peoples ideas at the craft fair & hope everyone agrees. Wish me luck!!!

I was just about to say the same thing..i also get mine there..the zip lock bags...i can put about 3 -1oz tarts in them. I think they are 4x6 size.

I have made votives in Palm wax, but not sure if i like it...its so brittle..they chip very easily. I only make the lea lights in my pillars though..wasnt sure if you meant regular votives or the votives in the pillars..sorry

Thanks! I love the way the mixing of the wax looks. I dont like the feather wax all that much & had some left over (about 10#) so i decided to mix it so i wouldnt waste any. It came out awesome..so now i have to buy feather & starburst...lol But i dont care..i love the look. I do make my tarts out of the feather palm wax too..

I tried the votives with the palm wax & yes i had melting, so i only do the tea light plug. The votive just gets to hot. Plus with the glass tea light in there along with the plastic tea light, its double coating.

How was your show? Did you sell alot?

I have a craft fair coming up at the end of Nov. MY very first one..I'm so excited! I have about 30 Forever Palm Pillars made & now working on labeling..man that's the hard part..lol I just love these candles, one reason being I don't have to worry so much about burning someones house down. I have tested many tea lights in these & have not had one melt or crack. I'm pretty confident about these & hope there is a good turn out. I'm not looking to make a lot of money...maybe just enough to buy more materials...I love doing this just on my free time...having a candle turn out is like a drug for me...I get so high...lol Thanks for looking.... Oh I mixed feather & starburst palm wax to get that effect...I just love it..do you?

You know, I don't know this answer either, so anyone that can answer this..i'd like to know also. I do not trim my tea light wicks with tea lights. I also use 6006 for my tea lights..how do you like it???

Ditto!!!! I got tired of testing palm...so i cut out the wick & started making all my pillars Foreves!!!!

Maybe we should tell her what could happen if she puts a wrong wick in a certain jar or pillar..of course if she tests she should know this, right?? Correct me if i'm wrong. If the wick in a pillar or jar is to small, your going to get NO melt pool & your candle isn't going to burn or smell, which is why ppl buy candles, right? In Pillars if you wick to big you could have a disaster on your hands..same with jar candles..I don't make them, but i know if you over wick in a jar....your jar gets hot & man that sucker explodes!!!!!!!!! Not a pretty site. And a fire hazard!!!!! To much F.O. is bad too..you cant just through "X" amount of F.O.in a candle either. To much & wow..disaster again! That stuff caught es fire.

I was just about to ask the same question Your candles are perfect then why change the wicks unless they are not burning perfect..if thats the case you better be prepared to be sued. A Candle might look AWESOME...i've made some of those.....YAY! but once i burned them...oh watch out...one blew up on me !!! Thank God I was the one lighting it...

So you think i should try the ECO 12's or give up, because i'm the same way..the average customer isnt going to trim the wick like it should. I'm no where near selling these, but thinking in the future, your right. I guess i'll try the ECO 12's & see, but if i cant get the wick right..i might just stick with masons or jelly jars..lol..

well i use the IGI 6006 so I use the CS regular dye chips...want to try the reddiglo next month, but love the chips vs the liquid.

I was thinking about trying a 12..thanks...I double wicked with LX 20's & got a FMP right away & thinking tis gonna be to hot. It's gonna burn to fast....well lets try the Eco 12's..i'll let you know how it does. Thanks
