  1. Has anyone added liquid collagen to their lotion? I use a base and add my own stuff, along with a little more preservative. I'm looking at marine collagen from Snow Drift Farm.
  2. The black background needs to go. I too am a baby boomer. You have great looking pictures. I think a light colored background would be better for everyone.
  3. Nice job. There's nothing wrong with melt and pour soap. I started with m & p and will stick with it.
  4. I haven't had a problem doing this. I'm always looking for new mixtures. What are you mixing?
  5. I have not used this base...I don't think you wasted your money though. From what I read about it on their site, you can make many different things from it.
  6. Looks good. Do they break apart like wax does?
  7. Silicone is great. You might need to support your pan, so the sides don't bow out. Fill it with water and see what it does.
  8. Okay...now you have me looking too. I love anything silicone. http://cudakitchen.com/catalog-product.php?p_ref=8179 Thanks for the site.
  9. Very nice soaps. Put your mold in the freezer after the soap is set. A minute or two is usually all it takes. The soap will come out easier then.
  10. Aroma Haven is the one I use. This is one of my favorite's. I use palm and soy wax. Also soaps and lotions. Nice strong scent.
  11. I personally like silicone molds. I use both heavy plastic and silicone. Go to (if you can) Michael's, JoAnn's, or Hobby Lobby. Make sure to get a flyer at the front door for the coupons.
  12. You would need to either leave the first slot blank with ----- or choose scent in it. I know I need to do this. No wonder people are having trouble.
