Here is a for example....... Yesterday I made 3 batches of my tallow soap. The one was Lavender & Sweet Sage. I usually use a Lavender Fields color from MMS but it at times likes to leave specs of color which I do not like. So I thought OK what out of my SS or CC colors is close to lavender. I decided on SS Lilac (light lavender) of some sort with a sage green swirl for the sweet sage. Well this morning I have PINK and sage green. Again the SS were way off on the lilac but right on with the sage. I truely do get much better consistancy with my CC. Let us know how you like them!!

Thanks for the input! I did put a q-tip dipped in Sandalwood and a q-tip dipped in Mac Apple together in a zippy and actually think that one smells pretty good! Applewood? Hmmmmm. May have to do a 1# tester in that and see how it comes out. I did a few others together but not near as impressed....may try a few more today and see what I come up with! Thanks for the Sandalwood Apple idea! I am sure most men don't really want to smell like apple but this resort bases everything on apple because Apple is in their name. So they therefore want everything that is appleish/outdoorsish..LOL The womens scents are apple blossom...so they wanted something more manly but still has some apple in it for the men. Maybe i will also try 2 sandalwood q-tips and 1 mac apple and see how that smells....with just a tiny hint of the apple? Again thanks for all the input!

Didn't Bert post somewhere a link to a page that lists the oils and descriptions?? I can't find it anywhere! Anyway I wonder how her chamomile tea compares to SW's?? I use that one in my tallow soap right now and love it! I did order her chamomile but haven't had a chance to test it in CP. Love her Pumpkin Custard Spice (?) in candles tho! I also want to try her Redwood Cedar in CP...anyone cp'd it yet and is it strong and holding??

Anyone know of one? The resort I supply to wants to now add a manly scent in soaps and lotions for thier guest rooms to go with the Apple Blossom for women. I don't know that I have smelled many manly ones...Apples and Oak maybe? (haven't smelled it..just sounds a bit more manly) Need a few different ones to try in tester batches of CP so they can pick what one they want. Any help is GREATLY appreciated!! TIA!

i find that I get true to color using the Celestial......the SS are hit and miss for me and I am not sure why as I measure exact and do not have a high OO recipe either. I prefer the boldness of the Celestial.

LOVE the lines (not swirls...lines LOL) in the purple! Very neat looking!

Ok I may be confused (and too lazy at the moment to run down stairs and look) But isn't there a EZ Wick Setter and then the EZ Wicks that are the plastic wick holders that go over the jars? I use the plastic ones and hold the wick straight with a binder clip. So in that case I would recommend the plastic wick holders over the bow tie. I have the bow tie also but really prefer the plastic. And yes there is an EZ Wick setter also....which I also use. So not sure if that was what you were talking about instead of the setter.

I use this in my Tallow soap and it holds the scent very very well in CP! For Sandalwood it is very very nice!

Check out the Celestial Colors....I use both SS and Celestial and prefer the Celestial by a huge margin.

I am not a patchouli fan...but use Solas Patch and that one i do like!

I go though tons of this FO!! It is our #1 seller in CP soap. It smells so clean. I have one lady that orders 3 dozen bars at a time. It also is my hubby's and both son's favorite scent. Flies off the shelves! I wouldn't mix it with anything. Have never tired it in candles....just cp soap, shaving soap and lotion.

Can you still get this?? Anyone know who carries a dead on dupe of this??

I voted Lotion....to me it is much more convienent. But I do use butter on my legs at night in the winter time because they dry out really bad.

My sales rep found me also. He gets 15% of the WS price and gets paid after the customer pays for their order. I do have a question for all of you that already have sales reps....do you help pay for the booth rentals at the WS shows they take your product to?

I tested it in my 70/30 parasoy blend and it did great after about 3 days cure time. I put it in the main bathroom and shut the door and it was very strong in there. I have it poured in the 4627 right now but I need to change the wick cause it is doing the bouncing wave thing and smoking some too.

Backwoods Honeyed Gingerbread is very very good!

I seem to be having trouble getting a kick butt, knock your socks off hot throw in just a plain Apple. (Macintosh Apple) I use a Para/soy blend. Anyone have any recommendations for a supplier that has a really good one?? I just ordered Backwoods to try out. Already have Peaks.
