  1. That is a beautiful "calm to the eye" display! The organization is so appealing I would be drawn right to it!
  2. My daughter is obsessed with owls! Are you planning to sell these on your etsy site? I would love to order a pink/black combo if you could do that. Please message me! ~Carla
  3. Your purses are AMAZING! Did you ever do the purse class? I would love to see how to make one. I agree that I love these styles more than the overwrought designer stuff!
  4. I also use Oregon Trails Raspberry and it tastes & smells yummy.
  5. Have you tried whipping it in an ice bath? (Not sure if you use a hand mixer or Kitchen-Aid). This works for me, especially in summer. The fast cooldown also prevents the shea from getting granular. HTH
  6. Really clever and it looks wonderful! I had to LOL at your husband! My DH had to do the groceries when I was sick last week, and when he brought everything in, I had to ask just where did he think he was going to store everything? You'd think we were stocking a bunker or something!:rolleyes2
  7. WOW! Gorgeous! I use that jar too- wish I knew how to do that! Your daughter is talented. :highfive: Does the light glow through it at night when the candle is lit?
  8. I would like to know how to make the soaps that look like real gemstone rocks. The chunky ones with all the layers that look like real turquoise, amethyst etc. ? That would be cool!
  9. The lid flap is a great idea! You could easily punch that after the box is made. (I envision a circle). If the candle is already wrapped, you wouldn't even need to go to the trouble of a plastic window cover. But go with what you can deal with! The boxed idea is still simply beautiful and ready for gift giving. Makes it more special than a loose votive.
  10. I love the look and think it would attract an upscale market, so you could set a higher price point. I would suggest shrink-wrapping the votive and having a small cutout window on the front panel of the box to display the color and appearance. The palm wax is too beautiful to completely hide in a box! I also like the scent description on the box.
  11. Oooooo and Aaaaahhhhh!!! So pretty yet so manly! Vio, I hear ya! Haven't got the nerve to try CP yet, but just LOVE to look at it! Also, does this smell like Old Spice?
  12. Great way to use up wax and so pretty with the glass beads in the bottom reflecting the light!
  13. LOVE that! The colors blend so nicely and I love how well the rustic effect came out.:highfive:
  14. That is such a cool and beautiful idea! Now, how do we go about scoring an invitation to this here shindig?
  15. How Sweet! I especially like the little pink bows on the ears.
  16. OMG that looks delicious!!!! You can send the "leftovers" to me!
  17. Here is a pic of a dipped moose I did for V-Day. He is scented w/ Peaks Wild Raspberry, and he is fragrancing the whole downstairs of my house! (dipped in soywax, btw)
  18. Those look Scrumptious!!! The color combo is so chic and fitting for the scents, and your labels look great!
  19. That would be PUPPPS- and it is a nightmare! Everything from benadryl to steroid cream did not bring relief. I would dig my skin in my sleep. Only cold compresses occasionally relieved the burning sensation. It continued for a few months after I had my daughter. By then, I tried balmex out of desperation and it gave some relief. I wish I knew about shea butter back then! Hope you find something that works for you
  20. I Love your packaging! The metallic touches are very upscale.
  21. Very cool! I can see them on a gold pedestal or grouped together with gold ornaments. Lovely!
