    Thank you:grin2: I used the pop colors from TKB. I did let it gel, it got pretty hot actually, but I think that's due to using a log mold.

    Yummy! Must be nice to be able to actually cut straight bars with round logs. I suck at that.

    We are taking a trip next month to PA just to go to IKEA. I really wish they would open in Ohio already.

    Seems like a reasonable mold for the price. On the other hand I personally would spend the extra buck or two and get a soaphutch or Logan Bear mold that will last for decades and not have to worry about anything breaking or morphing or using pliers.

    WSP has a good sale going on with the Vanilla Bean Noel. I grabbed some the other day, its pretty darn good. And NG's Vanilla Extract is pretty good too.

    The bows make me think they are for a baby, although they are very cute indeed.

    Smooth the crack down with a spatula or it will still be there tomorrow (same thing happened to me last night, tried a new Karma and it practically erupted, cool soaping temps and all. I smoothed the crack down and now you can't even tell it was there.) Then put it in the fridge for awhile and keep an eye on it. If it keeps getting hotter and hotter, pop it in the freezer.

    You can also add a touch of a base oil to a washcloth and polish the bars. Makes them nice and shiny.

    Soap and mold look gorgeous, but I just wanted to tell you your hair looks amazing in your avatar, lol. I have been trying to figure out how I want to wear my hair these days, so while others are looking at soap, I am over here looking at hair:grin2:

    Maybe a super fatted liquid soap that is high in castor might work. Which is giving me ideas myself! Off to start cooking something up! I am going to try and make a neem and nettle shampoo this week.

    I take a bit of my oil out for the colors. Just got in a gallon of glycerin and a bunch of bottles, going to premix all my colors.

    Where is everyone? If you don't catch it tonight, no worries, I am going on anyway, all the info will be posted and I will answer any questions you might have in the classroom. For some reason I think people think its tomorrow....

    Most of the fragrances I use have a .7 oz pp recommendation, because they are so strong. So that is what I use. Some places you have to use more, some places less. I would check what the site you got it from recommends.
