  1. Teach away:D Thank you for the recipe, I am waiting for my snow baller to get here, and then I am going to town!
  2. Were they made with a snow baller? I love them! I have yet to find a recipe that worked for me I will conquer these one of these days!
  3. Thanks for encouraging me! Guess I'll go dig them out of that dark corner now, lol.
  4. I used a squirt bottle:tongue2: I think its because it was so late, and I was nervous, and I did not practice before I even thought about doing it. Tomorrow I am going to attempt pears:D
  5. That is the funniest thing I have read all day! Totally gross!
  6. :DThanks! Next time I think a stencil of some kind is in order.
  7. Can't wait to see it! Does anyone know if Lowes will cut them to order for you? I know Home Depot won't.
  8. I have been convinced that these are not as funny as I thought they looked. This is my funky attempt at drawing lilacs on my lilac soap: However, my interpretation of a silk black kimono turned out alright: The Geisha's Kimono:
  9. If you are already a member, you should be able to get into the classroom. http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69513
  10. Ha! We shall see about that co op. I think the minimum she told me was 250 lbs:shocked2: They are sending me a quart to try out, I can't wait!
  11. The 6% is great! This weekend I am going to make my shea gel. With that I put 15%, and I love it. It does not stay clear with FO, turns opaque, but its worth it. Don't you just love that hydrovance! I was just talking to National Polymers yesterday about buying it buy the bulk (I think is $1.07 a pound.) Because I cannot live without it, like it better than gylcerin.
  12. If you can figure out where the mistake was, yes its possible. But if not, then unclear soap it is, lol. How does it feel when you wash your hands with it?
  13. Those bars look extremely creamy, great job!
  14. Is it possible you did not add enough lye? White clear means you still have some free oils that were not saponified.
  15. Did you try the clear test yet?
  16. You are a doll, thanks for posting it! Love Amazon! I see huge giant balls in my future! *can't believe I just said that!*
  17. If you post a few of you recipe ideas in the cream soap thread in the classroom, I can critique them for you:)
  18. I find that if I nuke my soap for 10 seconds, then add the FO or Eo, stir like mad with a whisk, it always remains clear. I did have one episode where the soap took the form of clear thick snot, but that was the FO's doing (Mojito by NG.)
  19. The colors are very bold, they look great!
  20. My soaps usually are around 9-10. Have you tried it and found it drying as well? The only solution I can think of would be adding glycerin or hydrovance, and yes, maybe try the borax.
  21. Did you try popping it in the microwave for 15 seconds to see if that will clear it up?
