I don't know about the Latte butter, but.. I know that Majestic Mountain Sage's Cream base is to die for! Very similar to Sweet Cakes as well, but you don't have to add polysorbate with your fragrance oil.. I hope I can find a recipe that is similar to this one.

a nice CREAM recipe similar to the consistency of Majestic Mountain Sages? I love this stuff! It is so thick, rich and creamy! I have searched, but have not found what I (think) I am looking for.. any help would be appreciated!Teri

I use several of Alabasters fragrance oils as well. I LOVE Peach Magnolia Raspberry, Bithday Cake, Kudzu, and they have the absolute best MULLED CIDER!!!

Well... I am obsessed with Cook's Illustrated... I love to cook Mexican food especially... Tamales (Chile Verde with Jack Cheese)... Homemade candies.. Almond Turtles is my claim to fame with family and friends (Choclatier magazine ROCKS!). I make blankets, wreaths, and several other small crafts. I guess, I just love to create anything from scratch!

The ones that are awesome are Fresh Pear, Island Mango, Clean Cotton, and my very favorite is Romantic Blends. I purchase all of them in Premium grade.

I have just found that premium is just better (stronger) for the money.. You won't go wrong in the strength department.. always better safe than sorry! Teri

ROFLMAO!!! Scented.. you are too funny! I thought I was just plain crazy! As for the cats.. how many do you have? I have 3 purrrrty kitties! They are all inside cats... I spend a small fortune in good litter and 2 boxes! They eat the expensive food too..little boogers.. Two of them are Bengals, and one big,fat, lazy, long haired cat..my favorite kind. MOJO, SABER, PATRICK.. gotta love the kitties.. my 3 dogs are okay too.. :yay:

Is it just me or does this just plain STINK! I bought a sample from Wildfire.. it was very strong...but man.. it stunk... I was just curious as to what you guys were putting this in? Soap? Candles.. please tell me... I have had several people smell this and they all thought the same..

I have poured both waxes... J223 and the newer 4633.. I personally did not have any problems with the newer version. Scent throw is great. HTH

I just tried Baby Fresh from Craft Lobby.. it is wonderful! Very clean, but not like Baby Powder. Just a clean baby smell.

I have found through trial and error that it definitely depends on what type of "Mulled Cider" you are wanting.. I have purchased samples from every supplier that I could think of. I finally found the version that I wanted... it has a very strong Mac Apple note mixed with spices... For me, the winner is Alabasters... hands down.. my all time favorite.. no orange peel or clove notes.. just plain apple and spices..

Darn you Scented.. you are the one that got me to try Solas.. I did not listen to you though.. I ordered the 1 ouncers and now.. I am happy to admit that I ordered over $100 worth of fo's today.. I got Seabreeze, Lemon Sugar, and a few other pounds that I FLIPPED over and had to have.. plus a few more to sample as well... ALL YOUR FAULT! You know you are a foho when:You forget which or how many orders you placed. You have a better line of communication with the UPS guy than your mate. You forgot exactly what fragrances you ordered, therefore you are always pleasantly surprised.. You keep buying more so you can get those frequent buyer points....okay... anyone care to add on?

I have used SC, SW and SOS in extreme concentrate... I am now using SOS extreme concentrae exclusively. I use a ton of Amazing Grace and my new favorite Pure Grace. I too sell a ton in both of these fragrances. SC,SW, are awesome, but SOS is right in there as well and they are several dollars per pound cheaper.. hth..Teri

Care Bear.. where do you get your loofah? I am making these for the M&P Swap.. I plan on using GM for the bottom and clear for the top. I was planning on using my multi-cavity round mold, cut the loofah and put it in each mold (I was told to wet the loofah first, wring it out then pour the soap) I thought they would be nice for a hand soap. I would love to get some loofah on the smaller diameter size, but have no idea where to purchase it from.. I would appreciate any help...

I can only tell you that I concentrate primarily on candles, but I do make M&P soap, lotions, and linen sprays.. I will be using a few of these for candles (they are very strong).. but others will kick some butt in B&B products.. they just smell so darn good!

Okay.. you fo enablers.. first of all .. I just can't thank you enough for the great threads on Solas fragrance oils.. Man.. you guys were all right! These are hands down some of my favorite finds. Lemon Sugar.. to die for! Seabreeze .. WONDERFUL.. Mango Tea.. awesome.. Samsara... gotta get this into some soap.. very pretty..Be Delicious... wonderful..Elderberry.. very nice strong fruity scent... Kojiki.. very strong citrus smell with a twist.. very nice..Catalpa.. can't quite put my finger on this one.. very strong and really nice. A Touch of Spring.. very clean strong fragrance..Lime Basil and Mandarin.. my FAVORITE of the bunch.. and they are all so damn good! Okay.. I am now ready to pick up the next bunch .... need some suggestions.. I would love to swap with any of you guys that would like to try: Kojiki,Mango Tea,Elderberry, or Catalpa.... Let me know...
