i make cupcake soaps...if thats what you mean, but I use m&p so that it hardens fast. I whip it ALOT ( like a meringue) and then top it on the first layer...looks very real, i then add a topping: sprinkles, cocoa something like that.

ok so I made a body whip ( body wash w/ light exfoliant) for a little girl and her party...so pink is what it is scented in what else??? pink sugar:grin2:

looks nice!

i know about the chemestry store...but anywhere else??? I wasn't keen on the $20 to ship. ;(

where do you get yours? tear free? baby wash, body wash, shampoo etc... any help please I am having a ton of requests and wanna get it going for the holidays.
-
also make sure you test in a longer stage then just a week. make some products and then test them again in a few weeks/months. You wanna keep track on fragrance and depending on the product if they perform like they did from the start and things like being cloudy, changing color etc... It takes so much time but its fun and rewarding!!!

one has a smell and one doesn't
sorry not laughing at you just me:D

I don't KNOW exactly, but I THINK the only thing that prolongs the shelf life of anything that fizzes is to make absolute sure it is stored AIR TIGHT. Air (and heat & damp weather) carry moisture and that's what (normally) kills the fizz. It may not be enough to 'set it off' in any obvious way, but somehow it weakens it. If you are having a problem with dampness or your fizz's early demise I would suggest putting something like a Dri-z-air contraption in the room where your finished product is stored. Are you familiar with these little bucket things that you put the white pearly things that suck the water out of the air. They are cheap and all you do is replace the pearls now and then.
I wonder if a little bag of silica (like you see in the box of a new pair of shoes and lots of other things) inside the packet would A: work, lol B: be safe to the product and end user? Something to think about!
thanks we keep everything tight & stored great...just wondered if there was another way. I try not to make things ahead of someones order but I have some clients/family who like to keep them cuz there "pretty":undecided and wont use any time soon...silly I know, but my mom is one of those. Good grief, she knows where to get them too lol:tongue2:

how do you keep the fizz fresh in your fizzing salts or milks etc...fizz after times goes away in mine:( I mean stored products after a couple of months, not freshly made. I want to preserve these to last longer.
-
you just need to seperate your batches...colors and rotate the colors as you pack them.

i know i should just make this on my own but i dont have all the ingredients and it can get spendy to try i think. Anyone have a tdf recipe for a body souffle?????
-
its really your preference...play with them & see what you like best
-
I'd consider inkristinesshower.com I love her body whip or souffle...or...its one of those.
I just cant buy wholesale from someone tho...its too spendy for a small time girl like me:wink2:

okie dokie, I dont make this...I honestly have been terrified too. I bought one yrs back from soemone & loved it and have never been able to find anyone to duplicate hers. But I wanna sell some on my site since I get requests for different lotions/butters. I sell lotions & butters but not emulsified...anyone know of a supplier for a base..or do they not do that?? Hmmm...just throwing out my thoughts lol
-
cute...i made some awhile ago and gave up cuz my fo had a vanilla note in it & turned my frosting brown:angry2: Hope yours stay adorable!!!

the only issue with the above supplier bulkfoods is that its in crystal form...you'll want to sift it to make it finer for bath bombs.

i am looking for decorative mailers (boxes) to mail Christmas presents out in. I don't want to use the standard shipping boxes, something that is more seasonal. I have tried to google with different search parameters with no luck. I am sure I am using the wrong words as I know that they do exists. Can anyone help with a vendor or some keywords to use? Thanks
i know our post office actually has these during the season for addition cost.
have you tried your local craft stores? as well as the dollar store gets some at times too.

you can melt & measure...its more about a feel then anything else. You have to just know the texture that works where you live/humidity. hth

i didn't start w/ the easiest...I just jumped right in & got both feet wet!
BATH BOMBS! now I have them mastered and happy that I did.
But bath salts, milks are the easiest or m&p soaps
-
you can get it cheaper elsewhere, just research :smiley2:

looks great. Did you do it as a part for friends/family or did you open your doors to strangers?

Hi- I found a store front in Veneta Oregon. If you are willing to make the drive and buy in larger amounts you could save a lot of money. I have not used the M&P (or anything else from this seller) yet. But when I get my ingredient needs list complete AND have the money- I plan to make a trip there myself. She also sells oils and such- she just doesn't like to ship them due to leakage problems. If you are interested Pm me and I will look her name up for you. Can't think of it off the top of my head. Sorry. Good luck.
LMAO I have No clue where that city is, must be small & far.
