Is this true? I know ebay gets tons of traffic, but there's so much stuff on there for sale that I'm not sure a potential customer could find me if I'm selling there.

I have found that it does not work...lots of the competition isn't good and you get " lost" plus my customers would rather see an actual web site then an ebay store. Some turn their noses up at ebay, not everyone like it. I get more traffic by word of mouth, biz cards, samples, locals, friends/family, private shows etc... and always i get asked about a web site. Even with an ebay store

DING DING DING....now she ( Lea) wont return my calls..Im peeved at this point. cuz i dont know if i can order elsewhere and not be charged by her....by i have orders I need to make and need my products.

Not sure what you mean by rolling eyes at an Ebay store but you might get faster exposure there than you would a website. You wouldn't have to keep it up real long if you got your website up and running.

I dont like ebay as a "store" ....thats just me. I actually get more exposure from word of mouth and referrals. So a web site is perfect for me, thats not ebay.

My bath bombs are over 8 oz generally...they have "added" things to them to make them a little heavier. Added butters and or decorations etc...huge hit.

well I have lots of great designs & such but need to figure out more info like adding a shopping cart or being able to take order over it. Did you make yours? I need to bypass all these ebay fees and hope I can do this by getting a site going...but im so learning this process. At least i have a guide with my software however i guess then i need to find a domain name & host,,,,so i have heard LOL...And my own name is already taken GRRRR

i make much larger bath bombs for resale....they are fun and can get really creative. Once you get the hang of it you will have a blast. I have all kinds of stuff added & decorated on mine. yours sound little so you may need 2 to really get the good skin effects ( moisturizing or whatever your ingedient may be) I have oils in mine.

I have software that I can do this however I am just not sure ...everytime I start it doen't look professional to me. How did you start or how did you learn all about it. Im so despretly trying to keep cost down since I have made a profit yet just completely turning everything right back into my products.

so im really peeved with my supplier...I made an order on the 24th. She accepts the order then bills total with shipping after she calculates the shipping cost, its not automatic on her site. Well i have been contacting her all week wondering if she will be shipping my order....she didn't send the confirmation/change email. She wont answer any emails and I called today, still nothing. Im affraid to go somewhere else do to double shipping/cost plus shes so cheap. UGH---I dont know why I have such an issue with her. Before this is was ok then the order before that was ridiculiously slow...so shes not the greatest, but so cheap.

personally i love the plastic orniments...mine are very successful and stay together and form nicely.

curious to know how you all find bazaars or craft shows. I am in Oregon ( portland area) and not finding a ton of these except for the once a year xmas HUGE one. Not sure if im ready for that.
