  1. :highfive:

You are not alone, that is one kitchen appliance that will stay for food only. I can't bring myself to use it for b&b. I bake a lot so I can't bring myself to do it. I have food fly up everywhere and onto the mixer when I use it so I know that if I made lotion or scrubs in it then the same thing would happen.
  2. I think I am the only person on here who DOES NOT use my kitchen aide for my products- I cant do it:embarasse I cant deal with the fact its for food and then put lotion or body products in there. I am wierd I know. I am sure some dont put their fo or micas in the kitchen aide and then some that do but even if I dont put those products in I still cant do it. I still use my hand mixer for all that stuff. But anyway I too would suggest the wisk= lighter fluffier product. Sorry to babble- maybe more convincing myself here that others do it, so I could too lol

  3. lol I WISH I could even get that close to do that. Its not just off a little - its not even close nor is it the proper size after creating them from my software- which is using the same template...if I print it from my software ( which uses avery templates) it says its printing but doesn't, just feeds it through. So if i save it and go to word and try to print it that way- again using avery templates it doesn't even come close to the size that it needs to be, nor is it round. PATHETIC I tell you...i am pathetic at this. Oh and to answer another question this isn't for candles.

I am trying 2.5 round labels and also 3.5 or 3 labels

Try printing on plain paper so as not to waste your labels. Hold the paper up against the light with the labels behind it, to see if they line up. Only print on the labels when you have found them to line up. Round labels are always tricky and what I ended up doing was to leave a margin for myself so that even if the aim wasn't completely accurately, all the text would still hit the label.
  4. with round labels...I am wasting my money & labels - they are just not matching up and I have had 3 people try to do it on my puter.

I am now considering having someone else make them for me or I should say print them =( I may have found someone on ebay but I am still looking. Anyone else have someone else make there labels? can you PM I have questions. I dont need alot so this is where it gets tricky, I see on-line companies that want you to order a ton. UGH I wish I didn't have to do round ones, but it is the only thing that fits my jars.:cry2:

  5. OMG!!!!!!GRRRRR!!!!!

I am pulling my hair out...first off I have a cruddy printer BUT even with the templates that match my labels I cant get it to line up, be circle, right size etc.... Generally I have my dh do my labels since he can do this at work HOWEVER I want control of it since They change alot- for scents and new products. I dont know what to do. I need an idot proof way to do labels. Like if I were 5 ---- now my self esteem on being able to do this is down. I use to run/manage an office and now I cant even print a label :undecided :cry2:

What printer do you have and what can i do to just click & print???

Oh by the way my expensive software to create everything under the sun isn't even working to print...its not even printing just running the paper though the printer. Yes I may be slow here so dont bash me cuz I have already cried 3 times this morning after 3 hours of beating up my printer & puter:o

  6. forgive me but how does it warm...i read this about it???

Zeolite powder can be used around the house and in cars, refrigerators, kennels, barns, litter boxes, stables, locker rooms, bathrooms, chicken coops, animal cages, and anywhere else that odor is a problem. It eliminates smoke odors, mildew and garbage odors, skunk smell, pet odors, and much more. It can even be sprinkled in your shoes to get rid of foot odor.

Zeolite powder can be placed in a dish and left in affected rooms to remove odors. For a faster result, sprinkle it directly on the source of odor. The following amounts are recommended for most common household odors; including urine, pet smells, mold and mildew, garbage, vomit, fish, smoke, and so on:

    • Carpet (100 sq. ft.) = 1 lb.
    • Mattresses & sofas = 1/2 lb.
    • Pillows & cushions = 1/4 lb.
    • Litter pans/pet areas/diaper pails = 1/4 lb.

  7. me too!!! I also dont feel the warm...i know longer use them cuz i make my own...i love their gingerbread man, so now i make it but again no warming.

I use tons of Philosophy's warming salt scrub, but I don't really feel any warming effect. I posted the ingredients a week or two ago on another thread about it. Have no clue which ingredient is supposed to produce the warming. Maybe one of you with more chemical knowledge can nail it.
  8. that would be great but my base isn't "flowy" theres no way I can do it that way. I dont wanna use jars but I may have to resort to that if I cant get this to work somehow.

I prop up my tube in a snug glass or coffee mug and use a funnel. Depending on what I'm pouring, sometimes I have to do a little poking with a skewer to keep it flowing. I have 2 sets of nested funnels in varying sizes from Walmart.
