  1. ya I have been using zip locks howver mine always break, bust or get a hole soooo I loose product from allthe scraping and trying to put into another one. You should see my kitchen, its a mess and I have cucumber melon lotion everywhere:embarasse

I've heard of people using ziplock bags but I use a piping bag... I forgot what kind it is but it's very pliable not like the stiffer Wilton bags....
  2. call my dumb but whats the easiest way you do this my meathods are not working nor are they easy. I tried piping in w/ a bag but its a mess...I am wasting more product then anything else.:undecided I am using a soy base so its not melted down.

  3. ok so I add liquid to my bombs...????I have never added water to mine before. I generally just barely spray WH on them...so I will try to create a "gone wrong bomb" lol I just dont want them to get warty...

Spa Treat... I've perfected the "gone wrong bombs"... and my bath cookies are fabulous....:grin2: *lol*

Just increase your liquid... my recipe calls for distilled water so if you need water you're in luck... try it again....

  4. yes I searched:wink2: I only found 1 on here that was without eggs and a few w/ no recipes at all just people that didn't get accurate bath bombs. I was wondering if anyone uses a recipe that really works for them...i dont want to mess w/ real eggs/baking tho. I cant do it from gone wrong bombs...I dont get bombs that go flat or spread so I am outta luck there.( I searched on the web and again mainly recipes that call for eggs)

  5. no, I have both blend NBB & blend BBC ( babies for both) but when I make up the bubble bath ( bbc) its just like water, granted it provides bubbles BUT that not the consitancy of bubble bath or baby shampoo ( NBB) so I am disappointed. I didn't want to add more consentrate becasue I dont know if it would be more irritating to the eyes. Hmmm...:undecided

  6. lotion is all up to you & whatever your preferance is. you can put it in jars, malibus, containers w/ flip lids etc... its a personal choice:)

Hi, I've found a site that has some good prices on lotion stuff for someone like me that just wants to experiment and learn. I found these 4 oz bottles http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=5789&ProductName=+3.3+oz+White+Cylinder+Bottle+%26+Top+-+3+pc+set, and I'm wondering if theyre for lotion or not??? It doesnt say and I'd hate to buy them and have them not work.

    TIA

    Ash

  7. I use a hand electric mixture as you have to move very fast and I dont think the kitchaide lets you do that. You have to watch it cuz it hardens FAST. melt in a glass container and ( once it gets a really light film on top) then whip once you start to see it set you have about 30 sec. to transfer to your cupcake. It may take practice but the results are cute.( more like a meringue) You can also pipe in a pastry bag but its a huge pita..again when it cool enough to touch you can pipe it but hardens fast.

so you just melt M & P and whip it up in my kitchen aide?
  8. yes you can whip m&p i make cupcakes this way. Its just not the same for bathbomb ideas.

I have been banging my head with this one as well, tried 1000 different ideas. I wanted to do bath melts with the icing, first made the melt recipe and made the tiny cupcakes out of it, then made another batch of the melt recipe for the icing but could not get it to pipe out, I tried making a butter mixture and piping on,, it did work to some extent but not exactly what I was looking for. There was a link to a site in a thread that had the melts and looked like they made a merinque (sp?) icing. Please keep throwing ideas out there.

BTW: can you whip M&P soap?

  9. LOVE your pictures- did you take them??

I haven't read anyones responses but I noticed an error on your price of:

    Monoi de Tahiti

    $8.95 $4.00

originally priced at 8.95..you have .95 on the first link

and the only other suggestion I have is on bath & body you only have 2 pics displayed...its when you click on them do you see you have other fabulous products..I would add more pics so people coupld see you sell lovely things like lotions/bombs etc... jmo tho

    LOVEIT!

  10. ya i did...im not looking for lip gloss...i just dotn want the balm type of a recipe...thats mainly all thats out there. Either a "chapstick" or pure gloss. I want a combo thats not liquid. Boy I feel totally picked on- sorry for asking.

lol:naughty: do a search for lip gloss recipes. maybe that would help.
  11. like lip smackers...i use the stuff ALL the time..so i figured i could same $ if i made it myself. but i like the shine to it...not sure of the few recipes that i found if they would provide it...not sure if I add a little castor oil to a recipe if that would work, i just dont want it to not harden up and i have never made any to know the 'rules' for lip gloss.i want it in tubes not brushes.

  12. whats tro????

You can make a frosting with SLSA and it will be nice and hard and bubble when put unter the faucet. SLSA acts just like powdered sugar.

You can make a mixture of a hard butter, like cocoa butter and tro with slsa and corn starch with a little cream of tartar (helps bubbles stay longer in the tub)...whip it all together and pipe out. Note** shea butter won't harden enough.

I Hope this helps. I don't have an actual recipe, so you will need to experiment.

  13. Thanks for the link:) I have been reading Nizzy's site for months, just have not gotten the guts, lol.

I actually saw a bath cupcake online the other day and it said their frosting was icing sugar. I am off to the grocers to get some and see if that stuff melts in warm water. Maybe whipping a little SLSA into it....

but isn't sugar not good for your girl goodies???? I am sure its would be WAAAYYYY deluted but I thought sugar wasn't good for ya:undecided
