  1. It's listed under "Henry's owie keem excema balm" in the recipe section.
  2. I have to know , what is "whipped nizzy"?
  3. BCN carries it. I know because I got a sample in one of my orders!
  4. Just wondering, What does the cyclo do for this recipe? Or FCO?
  5. This is probably a dumb question, but I have to ask. What kind of markup do you do on stuff you buy and resell? I know on product you make it should be 3-4 times your cost, but on things like containers, tart warmers, soap dishes, etc. Thanks for any help. Rebecca
  6. I absolutely love it, and I'm not normally a citrus lover. I just made a batch of soap with it and it is smelling up my whole house. Just had to rave a little!!!
  7. I have had nothing but great products and service from them. They have almost anything you might need. Completely recommend them!
  8. Those look very nice! Ditto on the clear labels. I'm thinking about trying them.
  9. Can't help you with your problem but That contraption sounds very cool. I also have the same problem and would like to get some ideas!
  10. I found a recipe that I want to try that calls for Virgin coconut oil and I don't have any, what would be similar to this? I've looked at soapmaker and soap calc, just to see the specs and it's not listed on either. Also what could be subbed for IPM? Thanks for any help. Rebecca
  11. MMS has them! http://www.thesage.com/catalog/Bottles.html#PumpTopClosureSize20
  12. Bed Bath and beyond has the little metal tart molds. In fact they have several sizes. Would save on shipping.
  13. This is the one I was gonna try next. It just seems when I put the numbers in ( on soapcalc), it shows as very high cleansing and not very conditioning. I have very dry skin so I need as much condition as possible. Or maybe am I focusing on the recommended numbers too much? Thanks for the opinions.
  14. I am trying desperately to figure out a recipe I like, so I am playing with soapmaker and soapcalc. Which one of these is better IYHO? Also, which of the lather numbers should be higher? Thanks so much for any help!!! Rebecca
  15. Soy wax should come out with soap and hot water, just make sure you dry it real good (so you don't get rust). Or if you have a heat gun just give it a blast with that then wipe out with paper towel. HTH
  16. That sounds like quietgirl's basic soap recipe, except the kokum was shea.
  17. The chart is on the wicks unlimited site. They have the specs for all kinds of wicks. Here is the page for the HTP's, http://www.wicksunlimited.com/atkins_pearce_htp_wicks.php
  18. IMO the wick wouldn't have anything to do with the WAX catching fire. Even if the wick isn't right, the wick itself would be flaming not the wax. I agree with everyone else, it sounds like too much FO or not mixed enough. I tried joywax once and never had a problem.
  19. I printed out a chart that shows the burn/consumption rate for HTP wicks and I'm a little confused. If using a HTP 126 and needing to wick up what do you go to? The chart shows the rates for 1212 and 1312 are lower than the 126, Is this right? So if I need to go up from 126 what do I do? TIA for any help Rebecca
  20. Very nice. I'm jealous. I've done 5-6 batches and have yet to get one I like. Good Job!
  21. My 9 year old DS would love that. He's decided now that his fave color is purple. I love it, it looks awesome!
  22. I use HTP's and have had almost no luck with any others. I have tested others and always seem to go back to HTP.
  23. IMO the advanced doesn't have the throw that the pure soy has. Try it though you may have better luck! HTH
  24. I would think that would be fine. If you look on the ingredient list on commercial soaps and b&b stuff, they list "fragrance". I could be wrong though , hopefully someone who knows more will chime in!
