  1. WOW!!!!!!!!!!! I would have to buy one of those if I saw them for sale. Sally.
  2. Nothing plain or boring about the lavender & oatmeal, I think it looks lovely, just like the others. Sally.
  3. LOL, glad they came out ok Inez, I've had one crack completely in half before so I've learned to be a bit more patient. Sometimes I do put a pillar out on the window sill for a few minutes but only if I think it's already cooled enough & I need the mould. It's getting colder here now but not quite freezing tho so I don't get the cracks. Good news about the palm wax!!!!! Sally.
  4. PLEASE do not try this if you are making soy or soy/p.w pillars they will crack & spoil all your hard work. Sally.
  5. Forgot..........HAPPY BIRTHDAY BERT, us Scorpios rock!!!!!!! Hope you get better soon hun. Sally.
  6. HMMM I don't have any of those......yet. You can add Andes Thin Mint & Candy Cane to that list tho the Candy Cane did have a fuel smell for the first hour or so which is a bit odd as I've been burning a pillar with it today & it was fine, that was a soy/para blend tho so maybe the pw has helped.......its all a mystery to me! Has anyone tried any of the floral oils, I got a few & have yet to get any into wax but the Hyacinth & Sweet Pea don't smell like the flowers to me, maybe they will be different in the wax. I've poured the Columbian Coffee yesterday which has a fab ct, Cranberry (traditional), Christmas Pear & Cinnamon Nutmeg & Clove all in pillars & Tea Leaf & Jasmine, Juniper Breeze, French Vanilla, today in clamshells. Progress report coming soon. Sally.
  7. Same here tho I only use E.O's in my soy waxes, not my soy/para pillar blend. Sally.
  8. Add the Andes Thin Mint to the list Bert, it works a treat in both Ecosoya CB135 & my soy/pw pillar blend, everyone loves it. Sally.
  9. Cooooooooool candles, especially the grey & blues......on second thoughts I really can't choose between them. Sally.
  10. I've found this too tho I usually buy my wick on a spool. I recently bought more Eco 4 from a different supplier, as the original is no longer around, & it looked completely different. I did a comparison burn with 2 votives made exactly the same but with wicks from each supplier & thankfully the new wick burned just as well as the old if not slightly better. So now I'm wondering if Wedo has changed the wick slightly. Sally.
  11. OMG that is fabulous. Sally.
  12. I like them very much, both would go well in my bedroom. Sally.
  13. In my dreams......alas my kitchen will have to do for now. You have been a busy bee. Sally.
  14. Hi all, I lit the Candy Cane today & was a bit disappointed to get a very fuelly smell, however this disappeared after about the first hour or so & I got a good peppermint scent. This is the first time I've got a fuel smell from any f.o & I'm thinking it maybe too strong at 8% so I'm going to try again but with less f.o & if that doesn't work I'll try adding some vanilla. Off to see what new oils she has......lol Bert you have us hooked! Sally.
  15. They both look really nice, simple & natural. Sally.
  16. OOO I'm intrigued, that sounds delicious. Sally.
  17. MMMMMMMMM they are beautiful. Sally.
  18. OK so now you have me in tears, I will send that first one up to my friend who is with the angels now. Sally.
  19. DROOLING!!!!!!!!! The Andes Thin Mint in CB135, cured for 3 days only & burned like a dream in both my 8 & 4 oz tins. I made them the night before I went away & left a tissue which I'd cleaned out my pour pot with in a tub on the work top. When I came back on Friday night the whole downsatairs smelled just wonderful, & that was only a tissue! Will light the Candy Cane tins tomorrow but I'm leaving the pillars for a couple more days. I need to get some of the others I bought in the wax now. Sally.
  20. I'm starting out at 8% , like you it's what I usually use for other suppliers oils, but I think I'll be able to cut back on some. I haven't burnt any yet so I can only comment on the oob/cold throw.........yummy! I didn't get xmas tree, I got Evergreen as it sounded rather like another christmas scent I use(all year round) but it's not & so far I've only managed to get the CC & ATM in the wax. I'm using Eco's in my tins & LX's in my pillars so I hope they work well. The price is fantastic, even with shipping to UK they are still cheaper than oils I can get over here which are all too often inferior. Will post results when I get these babies burning. Sally.
  21. Well I've tried it( ATM) in the CB135 & my own ecosoya pillar/ pw blend & both times it's blended with the wax just fine. It is thicker than the Candy Cane & darker & I usually find this means an oil needs to be stirred a bit more than others, theres no seepage in the tins or the CC pillar, the ATM is still setting up so I'll have to wait & see how it comes out. I've used them both at 8% but I think I will be able to use them at a lower % I won't know til I burn them. I have to go away for a couple of days tomorrow so I won't be tempted to burn them straight away. Whats your wax Pixi? Sally.
  22. Gdawg how long are you curing the CB135 for.........I just poured Candy Cane & Andes Thin Mint this morning in 4 & 8 oz tins with CB135 & the house still smelled heavenly when I came back this afternoon. I could drink the ATM, its lovely oob but gets even better in the wax. Sally
  23. I have to agree with you Becky, even tho Berts prices are very very good & her service is too, if the oils aren't working well I won't use them, just the same with any other suppliers oils.......just hoping my box is full of winners! Sally.
