Underground Candles

How long did you test burn? What was the fragrance? What is the diameter of the holder you tested in? A picture would help.

I have a couple rose silicone molds and I made a hole in the mold and use wick pins and it works perfect, no leaks.

You really make some really unique candles! In a mold shaped like that, how would you wick them for what length of burn? Like other pillars, burn to edge and each burn time would be longer?

Also today I made some mottled Raspberry Cordial and Blatantly Blueberry.

I was going for the Sage and Brown colors that are so popular right now. Not exactly what I was going for but I like em! I poured the second layer a little hot but I like how it blended into the first layer.

They look more than just ok! I like your color choices, especially the white layer in the second picture.

No I poured the candle with wick hole down. Could it be the way I turned the candle for the photo?

I think you found my flaw, I get too impatient and need to let them cool like you suggested! Thank you!

I agree on the mold release, and I don't chill my molds. I think I get a little anxious to unmold at times, so maybe I need to be a little more patient. Thanks for the advice, over the years you have posted many a beautiful candle!

you have been busy! I especially like the brown one on the far right also. What technique did you use for that one, it is hard to see.

http://www.shrinkpictures.com/ The above link is what I use to make my pictures smaller otherwise they would be huge, so I had the opposite problem. I wish there were some large pine cones around here, we have 3 pine trees but they have tiny little cones. I will have to check other peoples yards.

You have your display very appealing, I wouldn't be able to walk by that one without checking it out.

Beautiful! Do you color your cane? It looks like a light beige or Ivory.. I like that.

I really like how you have your table arranged and the risers. The only suggestion I would have is unwrap some of your pillars maybe.
