Hi Anjie, I moved house in june & told myself I wouldn't get the candle things out until I'd finished all the decorating. Well I almost lasted....I had one room to go when I needed to make a special candle for a friend so out came all the boxes....some of them even made it back to the cupboard.....the candle was made & the decorating DID get finished. Now everythings back on track & I'm happy as larry. Even if all you do is get your oils out & sniff those new ones that you just didn't have time to try before you moved you'll be fine....the hooks will get you & there will be no turning back! Have fun in your new home. & MAKE SOME CANDLES, it won't really be home til you do. Sally.

Eve, Please don't be tempted just yet, let your body heal otherwise you'll end up hurting yourself even more. I know how frustrating it is tho. Can someone break the 10lb slab up for you & put it on your work bench ? Then you could do a little pouring. Candelish, take it very easy if you do that festival. Being on your feet for so long soon after surgery really isn't a good idea so take a comfy chair with you & use it. Your recovery is important! BTW surgery isn't that bad just as long as you allow yourself to recover fully before getting stuck in to the work again. Take care ladies & I hope you both make excellent recoveries. Sally.

Does anyone know of a good, strong dupe for Lush Karma, I've got a sample of Daystars & while its good it's not strong enough for me & my Karma loving girlfriends. It's fab if I add it to an unfragranced body moisturiser I bought, but a bit weak in the wax. I'm using it in my own soy/para blend for pillars & ecosoya cb135 for tins with LX24 in the pillar & Eco 6 in the 4oz tin. Any recommendations? Sally.

They all are very nice indeed. I love the tureen jars especially the purple one. I really can't choose between them tho & I think you've done such a good job the ladies will have a hard time choosing too. Hope the fund raising goes VERY well. Sally.

When things go right with my soy/para pillars I get left with a shell measuring approx. 5mm,sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less. This usually stays intact & I'm happy with that. If the palm burns in a similar way after a second/ third burn I'd say it was behaving very well, & you've done a good job with it. Can't wait to see the granite one. Sally.

With all the tales of this new "product" or that "new" detergent just how long is it going to take for one of these big manufacturers to "hear" about the goings on & slap a law suit on SS. I'd tread very carefully if I were him/her. SS, I'm all for entrepeneurship (if thats a word) but if you want to make your millions it just might be a better idea not to get sued for millions before you achieve your goal. Sally.

May I ask what the offending wax was? Any wax will get too hot if left to it's own devices for too long so they are all potential fire bombs, I'm just curious. I haven't had it happen to me & I'm known to let my tins burn on long past anything that could be called safe or sensible. Sally.

I'd only do it for personal use, I've got enough going on with everything else I do, & as Nattycat said, here in U.K the legal implications would make it unfeasible. Sally.

I've got an enormous trunk filled with all my knitting yarn, fabrics & rug making stuff. When I moved recently I went through the lot & found most of it smelled musty so I threw all my empty plastic f.o bottles in the sacks of stuff(minus the lids) Now when I take something out it smells good.
