  1. I know that stearic acid aides in firmness and opacity but does it do anything else? Will it bind the scent throw like vybar does?
  2. YES - That is the pic. Thanks Tish! Bruce - the CD was shrink wrapped for protection. My friend put it in her CD player and it worked OK. Still haven't found round tins the size of a CD but got to thinking maybe there would be square tins out there that you could put the entire CD case into (???) I love the concept!
  3. OK - for the life of me I cannot get the correct link to "underline" so everyone can quickly click on it AND I cannot add a picture or insert smilies. I'm not sure what is wrong - sorry.
  4. In search use Item Number E15064. Can't get a picture to load. DARN IT!
  5. A customer of mine got both these as a gift from her sister and was wondering if I could make something like it for her for Christmas gifts. They were sooo neat! And I am up for the challenge ! As anyone else seen them yet?http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx?app=detail&params=item^E15064,frames^y,from^se,cm_scid^srch,cm_ssi^Item:%20E15064

  8. I hope that IGI is still making it. I love the 6228. Right now I am still able to get it at http://makesscentscandles.com/
  9. I bought bath salt tubes from a supplier a while back. I bought enough that I would not need to re-order to soon. Now I can't find their web addy. I thought they were located in Ohio with the name Green Girls or Green Valley Girls or something like that. Can anyone help me? or am I going crazy?
  10. Keystone has awesome fragrance oils !! I wish I lived within 15 minutes from them. Pam is a sweetie too
  11. ink cartridges that have good quality and LOW prices? I have a HP Inkjet All-in-One. Are there any good sites you an lead me to or any bad ones you can suggest I stear clear of? Seems like I am always replacing them and am hoping to save some $$$. I have been getting them at Walmart but I am hoping there is some place online to get them more reasonable.
  12. Contact Vickey at KY via email. They do have some of the foil liners that have pin holes in them. Only the first few in each stack. They will need to doubled up but they are working for me until she gets more in. AND yes - BCN's are smaller!!
  13. I may be one of few but I do use my container wax for my tarts and always have. I have to pop them in the freezer for a few minutes to unmold them but it doesn't bother me. I sell tons of tarts and my customers love them.
  14. I gave up on my 2nd burn using a 60z after 6 hours. I pulled it and replaced with a 62z. I'll be re-lighting it soon to see how it does.
  15. Well then - I don't feel so bad about having a problem figuring out this program atleast I am not alone. I am thinking I should have started dinking around with new ideas during the slow season.
  16. Thanks Sliver - I lit my tester again today without trimming since I thought maybe I trimmed to short for the first burn. If it struggles today, I will try the 62z and see how it does. Thanks again ~
  17. Thanks Carole Thanks to you I now have a solid border - Wooo Hooo! Now I just need to work on the alignment. This program is new to me and I am struggling to figure it out. I worked on this for a couple hours and need to get back to packing and pouring. Is there any way to make a gingham type border? Also, can you quickly guide me on how to align the round labels?
  18. Thanks so much! I'll look for your test results a bit later. This scent is awesome !!!
  19. I have been trying to figure out how to make either a solid or checked border on my labels using Print Shop or Print Master but after days of confusion I have given up. I use both rectangle and round labels and can't figure out either. Can anyone help me out? Please, please, pretty please . . . .
  20. I got a sample of the Spicey Apples & Peaches from TCS test burning in a square mason using a 50/50 blend, 8% load and a 60z wick. I used a orange color block and a smear of liquid brown. The candle is gorgous and the scent throw is awesome - awesome - awesome but it is struggling on my wick choice. Is this scent a "wicker upper"? I cringe at using a 62z since they typically smoke badly for me. Just curious if I should back off on the fragrance load. . . I want this fragrance oil to work. Does anyone have any experience with this oil that can help me out?
  21. I noticed during testing although it is mainly paraffin I got sink holes in containers that are taller than the the diameter. Kinda a PITA for me. :undecided
