  1. Well, the way you explain it makes me picture old "Martha", but surely she knows better than that!
  2. I think they look super!:highfive: Great job!
  3. What happened to figuring it out on your own? IMO, part of the fun IS figuring it out for myself. What sense of accomplishment can you possibly get by asking someone to divulge their candlemaking secrets? Do people not want to do anything for themselves anymore? Hmm...I think I already know the answer to that one.
  4. "Our lotion will moisturize the crack of your ass like NO other, and you can bank on it!" I'm not a Grumpy Girl for nuttin'. LMAO!!!!! I love your sense of humor!
  5. I hate to hear such news, but only YOU know what's best for YOU! I've only been aboard a short time, but quickly came to realize what an asset you are to all the people here. I will greatly miss your quick wit and mild sarcasm. You added such spice to the board. Take care and good luck with your future endeavors!
  6. Oh, I'm terrified of lye. I would love to attempt CP; however, at this point, I'm smart enough to know when I don't have any business doing something yet. I don't know enough about safety and clean-up to try it.
  7. Total bomb? Couldn't have been that bad! Please tell us what you think went wrong...maybe someone (not me, but maybe an expert! LOL!) can help you out!
  8. Wow! That sounds awesome! And this works well for you? Hhmmm...might have to check that out. I just bought a presto pot. Wish I'd known that earlier, but no matter...I'll probably end up using the presto pot, too! Thanks for the info!
  9. Very cute! My hubby would love it too! Growing up, he spent many summers at his family's lobster pound in So. Portland.
  10. Wow! Awesome swirls!:highfive:
  11. http://www.cierracandles.com/tins.aspx HTH...this is only one of many sites...just google what you need and tons will come up.
  12. Looking forward to seeing more of your work!
  13. I'm way too new to answer any questions or give suggestions, but I did want to tell you I think they look great for a first try at chunks.:highfive:
  14. You always have the greatest looking soaps! I love the colors in the new batch. Hope it turns out great and can't wait to see it cut.
  15. Wow! I'm loving that!:drool:Your packaging great!
  16. I'm new here, but just wanted to throw this question out: Does anyone out there actually make their own lye? I was reading the "lye suppliers list" thread and I know some of you have problems getting your lye shipped...have to order something else, can only order so much, blah, blah, blah. OR is making it a much bigger pain than trying to buy it somewhere?
