  1. Has it been that long???? LOL. Thanks everyone for looking. I appreciate all the nice comments. Jennie- Hi neighbor! When are you going to post pics of your beautiful pillars?? Top- we need a break from rustics- how about some of your smooth (don't know what else to call them!) pillars or mottled ones?
  2. Can you tell I was in the picture taking mood? I'm done for a while now:D The first candle is scented Amber from Pourette- I just had a sample bottle of this fragrance - very strong. The second set is scented in Log Cabin from Mint Meadows-the dark brown pillars are the same as in my other post but I thought the horse pillar looked good with them.
  3. I'm a pine cone freak, so when I saw this mold I had to have it:) CP soap scented with Log Cabin from Mint Meadows. As I can be very impatient, I forced these out of the mold a little soon so some stuck in the mold.
  4. I spent a good part of the day yesterday trying to get some decent pics of my latest candles- I can't say I'm thrilled with these, but they aren't too bad. I don't care for the ivory colored candle in the pics though. Thanks for looking. The pine cone molds were made by bcgrayson!
  5. I'd say they are perfect rustics!! Nice job:)
  6. Black bear hunting is legal here in Wyoming, but you can't hunt grizzly bears. In fact bear hunting season starts soon if it hasn't already. I'm not a hunter but my husband is. I hate to kill anything!
  7. Their soap grade shea is now $1 a pound and their yellow shea is $1.75 a pound. I had to order at those prices!
  8. Craft Wholesalers has some wooden bowls- they might have something you'd like. I do believe they have a minimum order requirement of $50 though. http://www.craftwholesalers.com/search.ihtml
  9. Love the look of the black pepper. There definitely is a big difference between the colors of the gel versus nongel. Very nice:)
  10. They both look fantastic, but I especially like the Charisma. Great picture:)
  11. Sorry, I just read it differently than you meant it. Thanks for the clarification.
  12. Very pretty! Great job on the layers.
  13. Congratulations on your first batch- looks great! My DH asked if I could make him some plain unscented soap for camping:smiley2: I've seen several people mention using vinegar on lye burns although I've read in at least a couple of different places to only use lots of running water, NOT vinegar- vinegar is only to be used for cleanups.
  14. Ditto what everyone else said!!!!! Great job:)
  15. Hey, those look very nice- I like the round too:smiley2:
  16. Gorgeous!!! They look good enough to eat:)
  17. Thanks for all the nice comments:) I still have so much to learn and lots of experimenting to do, but it sure is fun and addicting!
  18. That's so pretty- the swirls are great. Looks like a huge batch of soap!
  19. After lots of reading on the board, looking at all of the beautiful creations and ordering some soapmaking books, here are pics of my second and third batches of CP- my second batch is Arctic Raspberry from the Scent Works. The third batch is scented Herbal Citrus Sorbet from the Scent Works- I don't have a huge choice for colorants right now, so green it is! Both of these fragrances are wonderful.
  20. Lookin' good! I have a gorgeous purple one from a swap- love it:)
  21. I'd have to say Arctic Raspberry from The Scent Works- it's absolutely wonderful!
  22. Great job! Love your site- very clean with great pics. Your daughter is a cutie:)
