  1. I love Flaming's oils. Never tried any of those, but apparently I need to try Supernova and Woodland Foliage now thanks to Sarah's rec.
  2. Great info. I'll have to try the Green Clover/Aloe and Suntan. From NG, I highly recommend the Gingered Bergamot. My wife's favorite scent thus far.
  3. I made my own with the spigot, and thus far I like it. If you aren't a DIY'er, it may be worth the extra money to have someone else make it. The cost of the plumbing is not trivial. My guess is you probably save $20-30 building it yourself.
  4. Here is a random link I found when Googling this exact topic. http://www.candlesandsupplies.net/Fragrance-Oil-Blending-Basics
  5. Good point on batch size. I have yet to upscale.
  6. What about the electric skillet that everyone seems to suggest to heat their pour pots? Pop your jars/tins on there, set it to warm (or even pre-heat and shut off). Should heat the surrounding air a bit too.
  7. Yup, I used Teflon tape. Seems pretty solid. I have plans to try it out this weekend. It was a fun DIY project, if anything!
  8. Ah got ya. I just installed a spigot on my Presto, so hopefully I don't run into the same issues as you did. For my small time operation, it is probably enough for now.
  9. Is there something special about the turkey fryer setup, or do you just put them over the propane burner? I assume you install a spigot on those as well (a la Presto Pot).
