Nope.  They have a shipping calculator and everything.  You ain't kidding, that's a big jump.  Huge.  I cannot imagine what they are thinking.

I'm like kandlekrazy. I don't have the time or the inclination to jump through hoops to buy something.  It's a shame though. They have loads of stuff I would buy.

I am the same way. I wouldn’t call or email- just abandon my cart. Like I said, there are tools they could use to get it close to what it should be, if not exact.

I’m sure I miss out on great oils because I won’t shop with companies that have egregious website errors like this. There’s at least one that doesn’t describe their fragrance oils. And a few that don’t group their scents by type. I don’t want to scroll through every scent, alphabetically, for 30+ pages to shop!

Nice! Looks like CS? I hope some of those are the wonderful phalate filled fragrances! 😉😂

YES!! Some of them are for sure. Their discontinued Gardenia - which I have a 5 gallon jug of in the house. I think 3 bottles in that box. I was the most excited about that one!

Cool!!  How long have they been there and what kind of temps have they been through?

     Great question!

Just checked and I ordered these in January. Not sure when my husband moved them to the garage. But they’ve been out there since summer for sure.

  4. I’m in my garage looking for holiday bags and stumble on this case of oils that I forgot were there! Hundreds of dollars worth that I thought I was out of or low on.

    Can you believe it?!

I had this in the garage when I ordered a few bottles I was “out” of. 🙄

  5. Mine are 2.5x1.6x0.7

Thats roughly double the size of yours and mine are right at 0.9 oz of wax.  Perfect for a large warmer and easy to break in half for a small warmer.

I could be wrong, but I’d think it would be back breaking work to fill it at .375 depth. You’re melts will be about a half ounce. My first melts were between .25 and .4 oz and it was killing my wrist and back trying to pour such a small amount.

I’d see if you can get the mold a little deeper.

  6. When it comes to using the melt the depth won’t be a concern. It will make it much harder for you to pour- the smaller the mold is. You’ll definitely want to pour in small increments bc it’s hard to pour consistently without splashing or over pouring.

I would suggest finding a cheap mold with similar dimensions to practice pouring before you commit to a custom mold.

When I get home I will measure the mold I use to see how it compares. The height and width are similar - just need to check the depth.

edit to say- the small bears are tiny. But they are poured by machine. Trust that you would throw in the towel super fast hand pouring those. At least I would. I gave up on molds close to twice that size bc they were back breaking!

Hmmm. I believe the candle I poured is WAY weaker than I thought it would be. Did you ask Lonestar about phthalates

@cjrig? I didn’t look specifically to see if they were commenting on removal in their fo. That can really mess with a fragrance.

It has been phthalate free ever since I’ve been ordering it. So, it has to be something else.

  8. They claim to provide top notch customer service. I think it’s odd to not have a contact number.

Your experience makes me hesitant to do business with them. You should have been notified before they sent your order to see if you wanted to make changes. Or, at bare minimum, an order summary in the box letting you know what items shipped and which didn’t.

After y’alls conversation about LS leather — i couldn’t stand to wait and poured it at 10%. Since I want STRONG....at this point, all I’m noticing is it doesn’t appear to be melding with my wax as well as all other fragrances. (And i agree the scent isn’t as strong as I thought it would be...altho I’ve poured 6.5 dozen candles the last couple of days and think my smeller is a goner). All I can smell anywhere in my house is a mix of everything I’ve been pouring 😂

That will definitely happen when pouring multiple scents!  It is much lighter in my air fresheners. I’m just getting back into candle making, so I can’t compare in a candle. But, it is one of the 10 scents I used when testing out wicks and I wasn’t impressed with it compared to the other scents I’m using. It definitely doesn’t fill a large space like the others did.

I will be pouring wax melts the last week of this month. I plan to make some with this leather. Then I will definitely know whether I will be sticking with Lonestar on this fragrance.

My guess is that the fragrance is weaker. I’ve noticed it with a couple of their oils. It’s not just Lonestar- I’m sure it’s all these reformulations industry wide. Which will keep us constantly supplier hopping and sample buying.

Yes! I thought it was just me but my leather fresheners don't seem to be lasting as long or smelling as strong either. I've noticed it with Texas Candle Supply's leather too.

It may be the reformulations. Is it just strength to you or are the notes different?
