  1. I too love the smell of this one but don't have the best throw with this one either. I think vanillas can be really tricky!
  2. Perhaps this is what you're looking for... www.geocities.com/lwoollen_25/FragranceFinder/index.html HTH, miss
  3. I just placed an order from peaks for 7 different scents (never having smelled them before) based solely on reviews. I know, I know, not too smart (with most suppliers) but where there's consistency there seems to be truth! I love them!
  4. You must try FOH's Orange Dreamsicle Bundt Cake. Super strong and delicious. The throw is amazing. I also think that Nature's Garden Orange Danish (smells the same to me to as FOH) is divine as well. Just smelled it OOB but can't imagine it wouldn't be fantastic in wax.
  5. I use a soy/paraffin blend and use a couple of suppliers that select their scents based on their performance in soy (www.scentedbean.com and www.ascentshop.com). They've performed well for me. I've noticed that almost every fragrance oil supplier I use does some sort of testing in soy. You may want to also try doing a search on this board for more info to help you find what you're looking for. As for the scents you mentioned.....Peaks has a really lovely vanilla hazelnut. I heard BCS has a really great sugar cookie. Natures Garden and KY have an awesome coconut cream pie (they smell the same to me-just delicious!). Vanilla Buttercream Crunch is absolutely outstanding from Just Scent. Buttercream Frosting from Day Star is just to die for; my all time favorite frosting scent. Good luck and Happy New Year! miss
  6. Only fruit slices scent I've tried and love is Just Scents.
  7. All the above plus Sweetcakes, the scented bean, a scent shop, Farmhouse, Heartfelt, Keystone, Soap Silly, Tennesse Candle Supply, From Nature with Love, Millcreek, and KY. I know there are others that I love and when I think of them, I'll post. So many fragrances, so little time!
  8. I edited this post because I just realized your post was for methenol not menthol. Sorry! Good luck!
  9. I have many favorites. It's hard for me to narrow it down to just one soooo.....I've listed some of mine.... Clean type Green Clove and Aloe Cocoa Nut Cake Hazelnut Cappuccino Ocean Mist Fresh Clean Air Berry Brulee Sweet Potato Pie and the list goes on. Happy Holidays!
  10. I love Black Current Jam by Farmhouse. I have smelled NG's black current but it's been a while. Atleast they are spelled the same If you would like, I can send you a sniffie to compare yourself. Just let me know, Missy
  11. I agree with everyone! I change mine up all the time. Sometimes it's pink, sometimes it's purple.
  12. Hi April, Welcome to the board! You will find a lot of helpful people here. Couple of questions for you. What type of wax or wax combination do you use? What is the end product--tarts? votives? containers? pillars? Where do you get your wax from? Where do you get your fo's from? Enough questions for now!
  13. I've just placed an order from them. They were formerly known as Scents for Soy and changed their name because people thought their oils only worked in soy candles. Based on board searches, their Caramel Pecan Pie is totally outrageous as is their Cinnamon Buns! hth Tchau, Missy
  14. A fantastic, and I mean amazing, buttercream frosting scent is from Daystar Candle Supply. Wow! It is by far my favorite and I love it (can you tell?)! You won't be sorry. If you want a sniffie, just PM me with you addy and I'll get one off to you asap. Tchau, missy
  15. I just got a bottle of it and I am not exactly thrilled with the smell OOB. It's got a really sharp smell to it (nothing like I'd expect with whipped cream). I know I shouldn't judge OOB but I can't help it..am hoping it will turn sweeter in wax. If you've used it, can you tell me a little more about it. I'll be pouring it some time this weekend so so perhaps I should see for myself! Thanks in advance for any info! Missy
  16. I've not smelled Peaks (yet!) but FOH frosted carrot cake smells absolutely amazing. Just like the real deal right down to the frosting!
  17. I've not tried their hot chocolate but today I smelled NG's hot cocoa and I was stupified how much it smelled like the real thing! If you mix the cocoa with peppermint, let us know how it worked out. Sounds delicious!!!!
  18. If you don't find anything that tickles your fancy, you could mix pecans and pralines (peak, heartfelt, etc.) with a bluebonnet vanilla ice cream scent (scent works) and get close. You could also try chesnuts and brown sugar; it smells rich and sweet just like nut ice cream (atleast to me!).
  19. I don't think you will find any information regarding the % of soy/parrafin - atleast I wasn't able to do it. When I requested the information from IGI, they said it was proprietary. Okay! Anyway, it throws like a dream and is super easy to work with. It is very creamy, so be prepared for that. WSP is running a sale on it right now-really great prices. Good luck and I think you'll really like it when you use it.
  20. Farmhouse cookies and cream is just delicious. The throw on this is tremendous!
