  1. It really depends on the type of wax you're using and strength of the scent. Most typically use 1 to 1.5 oz of fo to 1 lb of wax.
  2. Where to start? You can't miss on any of her fo's. I just ordered the honey and shea and smells divine but haven't done anything with it yet. What application will be using the oils in?
  3. I totally love this fragrance. I recently ordered 2 lbs. and that was just for my personal stash Gotta luv SW!
  4. I melt the wax and chips at the same time. Call me lazy but it works
  5. I wish I could find the smell of those marshmallow peeps! Pure sweet sugar:cheesy2:
  6. I heat to 175-180 and add fragrance. I don't work with pure soy but it works great in my parasoy blend. I found that adding fo at around 175 really does help the fo bind with wax and it also does away with the toils of stirring forever and a day unless it's vanilla!
  7. oh darn, this would be for candles. I'll just have to keep looking.
  8. Thanks for the info. I've been receiving some not so good reviews from Mabel White. I guess I'll cross that one off my list!
  9. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a white chocolate fo? I have one from BCS but was wondering if there are any others that people have tried and liked? I've done some searches and found the following suppliers: sheila's gifts and things from nature with love mabel white just by nature Any thoughts on the above or others would be greatly appreciated!
  10. I really love Scent works Belgian Chocolate. I've also heard that Oregon Trails has some amazing chocolate scents also!
  11. How exciting, I will keep my fingers crossed for you! I suggest you try Scent Works Clean for Men type (awesome!). This smells fresh and clean like you just stepped out of the shower but better! When I wear the perfume people always remark how clean and fresh I smell. You may want to also check out their Green Irish Tweed (House of Creed type). This is a nice scent but has more spicy/sweet notes. Good luck! missy
  12. Thanks for all the feedback everybody. I broke down and ordered both angel food cakes; so much for making a decision! :undecided
  13. Thanks Gaye. I'm going to order some to try. Do you detect a lot of almond notes with it? Most of the ones I've tried have a really strong almond note to it. Thanks!
  14. I was just wondering if anyone here used angel food cake from Aroma Haven/Rustic Escentuals. They have two angel food cake fragrance oils listed, their brand and one by Chermark. I've emailed the company but was wondering if anyone knew what the difference was between the two. If you have a favorite supplier you'd like to share, well that would be great too Thanks, missy note: the Chermark version is listed as a best seller on their website but on scentforum, their version is rated outstanding by 5 different people.
  15. How about JS Hot Buttered Rum? WSP has a really nice Rum Caramel. Try out this link too (if you don't already have it); they have lots of "Rum" scents: http://www.geocities.com/lwoollen_25/FragranceFinder/index.html HTH, Missy
  16. I've had really good luck with Candle Science. Fantastic customer service and super fast shipping. I've gotten dye chips and fragrance oil there. Both were great. You should give them a try, I don't think you'll be dissapointed if you.
  17. You might want to check out Fragrance Oil Heaven. She has a fantastic Blueberry Lemon Verbena. No fuel smells, just freshness! I can send you a sniffie of it if you would like! LMK, miss
  18. My vote for daystar too. smells EXACTLY like the lotion! Just ordered another pound today. If you want a sniffie, I'll be more than glad to send one along to you
  19. Love Stacy and her oils. Super strong oils, fantastic customer service, and exact shipping. I've got about 20-25 oils from her (across categories) and they all throw like a dream for me and smell great in B&B!
  20. You have got to check out http://retailpackaging.com They have a huge selection at lower prices than other companies and have a meet and beat policy for same type items! HTH, miss
  21. Bad angels always have so much more fun than the good ones! This scent is divine in anything!! I keep one pound on hand for myself (all the time!). Have fun and enjoy!! Tchau-
  22. I've not put it in wax yet because I always think of this scent for b&b applications.
  23. Sorry Malamute, I need to read a little more carefully! Try cutting back to 1 ounce and that should cure the smoking issue. Let us know if it works.
  24. Depending on your wax, adding 10% fo to one pound of wax is ok. What you're probably seeing is the fragrance oil burn off. I tend to see that with heavier oils and/or when I max out on fo. Try a 10% fo load to 1 lb of wax and see if that works for you.
  25. Looking for a strong, true lemon pound cake. I've heard these two were good. Anyone have a favorite between the two? Thanks! miss
