  1. I've had some oils for over 7 years (I really need to cut the dead wood in my inventory) that are still good. My shop goes thru all weather extremes from blazing heat/humdity to close to freezing and I've only had a couple go "bad" just from the looks or smell of them. But they were from no-name type of suppliers. I've found the bottles from BCN are the ones more likely to "suck in" & that's one thing I hate. The bottles then tend to split. The oils are fine it's just crappy bottling.
  2. I have some FO I got over 6 years ago that I obviously need to get rid of (since I haven't used them up in this length of time they obviously aren't good sellers) but they are still in good order. My scents are kept in my warehouse which is a metal building. Our heat index has been around 115° last week. But it's true what was previously said, if you pour it into 175° and up this heat wave is nothing. The only problem I do have is when suppliers use those cheap bottles and they do the "sucky" thing and sometimes the plastic splits.
  3. I had gotten mine from WSP but that was a couple of years ago...it was luscious.
  4. There's quite a few suppliers that have a marijuana scent....unfortunately I've never found one that was true to the original.....not that I'd know from personal experience or anything. Yeah right....I was a teenager in the 60's!!!!!
  5. Stella is it a 50/50 mix??? That sounds interesting.
  6. I just tested JS's Lemon Bundt Cake and it has NO fuel at all. It's has a great throw in my 50/50. Really awesome scent.
  7. Raspberry patchouli & masculine musk are awesome together. Amber sandlewood & patchouli is good also. Add a touch of sweet pea (not b&bw) for a light floral note.
  8. It's luscious..great throw in 50/50..to me it's more than apple pie but less than apple strudel.
  9. I was just saying a week or so ago JS's Southern Vanilla reminded me of Werther's original candies.
  10. Your colors are very crisp and bright...finished candle looks great but to be perfectly honest I think you need a little more work on your labels. Maybe make your font a little bigger and darker so it stands out more...all that really catches the eye is the 8oz. Are you using labels cause the edges around your border doesn't look even all the way around. Please take this as the intent that it was sent in...I think you have a very professional looking product but your labels weren't up to the standard of your candles. If this hurt your feelings I'm sorry.
  11. I have the one from ScentWorks and it's dead on dupe. JS is supposed to be getting it in shortly.
  12. Cajun's is great in soy. Awesome throw!!
  13. Is this OOB or in product stink? OOB stink means nothing...if in product that may be why it was in the classified. Sorry.....but it's true....cold scent oob smells nothing like what it will smell like heated (in oil warmer) vs wax hot & cold vs bath products. I've never tried that particular scent personally.
  14. WillowWoods is great in candles and awesome in soap!
  15. I've used their creamy vanilla for years...it's awesome.
  16. The green tea & rose I lit in my 1/2 bath and doesn't fill the room....very very light but a great scent none the less. It will make awesome b&b. It also would probably make a very nice incense.
  17. The pumpkin cornbread is awesome. Great aroma and awesome scent throw. Very homey kinda scent. I thought I wouldn't like it this time of year but I think it would be good year round with extra emphasis on the fall. I didn't get to light the green tea and rose but I know it's going to be very light but would love to soap it.
  18. I poured the pumpkin cornbread 2 days ago and I'm gonna test it tonite....it's sooooooooooooooo yummy cold hot must be unbelievable! I also poured the green tea & rose...that would make luscious soap...I'm sure it's gonna be a light throw in the wax but we'll see.!!!!
  19. For a true Bitch I think I'd add a splash of red hot cinnamon for that needed bitch slap!!!!!!!
  20. Thank y'all so much for the info. I'll rip out my wicks and start over again. This patch is too gorgeous for me to give up on. Can't wait to soap it!!!!
  21. Does anyone know of a comparison chart on wicks...Like if a 44-24-18Z is similar to a CD4 & a LX 8? I've got a very picky patchouli I just got and in an 8oz. jj I've gone all the way up to a 60z and it's doing pretty good but I don't know where to go from there for the 16oz. jars...I'm still working on the votive...a CD6 is pretty good but not perfect yet. I use a 50/50 blend and normally use zinc. If it takes me testing till Sept. it'll be worth it...this oil is fantastic. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have tons of different wicks in stock just needed a little nudge in the right direction. TIA
  22. JS's Hot baked apple pie is a best seller for me.
  23. Man those two mixed would make an awesome Apple Cinnamon!!!
  24. How rude of company to interfere with your on line chat time.... After what CM said I may have to try BCS when my current one is out. I'll write myself a note to check tomorrow just in case you need it or just in case I need to order some. I may also try Anna's recipe to make my own! A reason to experiment is always a good thing! Maybe I should submit that one to Martha!
