    I too am a CBA user and have just recently found that if you find the right FOs it will throw for you. The wax sets up so nice for me.

    I went down on the FO to 1oz per lb and it works. Am also getting a great throw when testing in the bathroom. One thing I have learned about these tins is that you have to test burn to the bottom. I always get hang ups the first 2 burns...then it all comes down.

    Thank you Ladies Guess I will just have to wick up...didn't really want to since I make my candles in tins...the wicks are going to look ugly that big.

    I use the Pink Sugar from Peaks. I tried 1.5oz per pound and it makes my wicks drown. What is the maximum you think I can use? Is this just a hard Fo to wick? Thank you

    I couldn't get a good throw in soy with Sweet Pea But it smells really nice.

    I got mine at save on scents. It didn't throw for me in soy.... But it does smell like the real deal. Its one of my fav colognes. Been wearing it for years now. PS. It didnt throw for me in candles or on the warmer...and I got the Ultra concentrated. I made body spray and it was awesome!

    Thank you. I made a huge mistake. I wicked one conatiner it came out fine and went ahead and wicked 10 others with a different FO. :embarasse Guess I will have to re-melt.

    I wicked container#1..... came out great. I wicked container#2...... with different FO.. now it doesn't reach the ends of my container. Will going down on FO% fix this problem? or do I need to wick up? Thanks

    Sorry....I don't know anything about layers but.....my wicks used to drown around that time also. I was adding too much FO. Went down a few % and that fixed it for me. HTH.

    Funny... cause I went to a restaurant last night. The candle on my table had a huge wick. I'm sure it had been burning for quite awhile. I would have done anything to get my hands on that wick! LOL

    I don't think you have to stir for that long. I don't. I just stir 4 minutes.

    Okay... so I work really hard on making my candles. My housemates (whom I love to death) love candles so I am constantly making candles for them. They burn them for 10hrs or more.....and they don't trim the wicks. I have tried to get them to cut the wicks, not power burn them so long...they don't listen. I get so offended when I have to constantly see huge mushrooms all over the house. My babies are being abused. Does anyone else feel this way?
