I love KY's as well but I don't think it is skin safe because I would have soaped it long ago...lol.:smiley2:

What a wonderful use for the scent...I never thought of that.

KY's old fashioned christmas is the best pine scent without the pinesol I have ever smelled! You could sub it for a real christmas tree any day. Very true pine and throws super in 100% soy.

I got a message from Becky herself and found it is skin safe! She said they were getting new labels and the website is the most accurate for checking if a scent is skin safe. Becky is so good about communicating...off to make some soap!

On the JS website there is a heart next to this scent meaning it is skin safe right. On the label on my container here at home there is no heart. Anyone know if this is skin safe? TIA

I had a allergy patch test done recently on my skin. The doctor says something in my soap is irritating my skin. I have never noticed any issue with it until this test was done. It shouldn't be the f/o because my lotion with f/o in it is fine. Does anything in my recipe ring bells to anyone that could be causing this. In the soap calc. it comes out pretty mild. I also wonder if having soap tested on my back for 3 days would irritate just about everyone...after all it is meant to be washed off. I have only had a rash show up on my hands at work but of coarse all of those strong cleansers/lotions tested fine...I'm at a loss....TIA:embarasse Caster Oil-10% Coconut Oil-24% Olive Oil-30% Palm Oil-26% Sunflower Oil-10%

I can't seem to find sunflower oil anywhere anymore. Anyone have an idea what is up? I used to be able to buy it just about anywhere (Wal-Mart etc...)and now I can only special order through my local co-op.:undecided
