  1. Great job!!!! Love the swirls. :undecided I'm a podless and stangless soaper. I need my child to go away to school so I can get my stuff back!!!!!!! Yep, chunk those bolts. I know where mine are but don't and haven't used the darn things.
  2. Beautiful detail and colors. I love the pumpkins too. Oh, and that lil sweet puppy is just adorable.
  3. Yep it's MMS's Maryann. I didn't soap it at 1 oz. ppo either. After reading the site, I did it at 1/2 oz. Darn, I hope it doesn't fade. I'll be soooo disappointed. If so, I'll get more and increase the amount, lol. Thanks to everyone for the kind comments. I'm about to go nuts to yank this baby out of the mold. Brenda, this is your technique girlie. Thank you so much for sharing. I'm really loving it for this FO. My colors are absolutely perfect. I had the a bottle of the GF Shampoo sitting on my counter this morning so I could get the colors right.
  4. A really good friend gave me a 1 oz. sample of Garnier Fructis as a gift. I've been dying to soap and decided this morning was the day. Everything was going perfect. My neon colors were perfect, my trace went perfect, my layers looked perfect. I was just happy as I could be. I started cleaning up my mess and I turned around and wouldn't you know, I forgot to put the dividers in my Kelsei mold. My heart dropped. I didn't not want this batch ruined. I grabbed the dividers and gently pushed them into the mold as the soap layers were already setting up. The tops turned up slightly but I think I can trim them. She's still not ready to unmold but I wanted post the Garnier Porn for Grumpy and Kaybee23 (thanks for the fo girlie, I love it!). Okay, here they are out of the mold. The colors didn't fade but I think the FO is a little weaker. My swirls on top kinda got pushed into the orange layer and you can really tell how the tops curl up looking at them from the side.
  5. LOL, well, I need to go check on that lil baby and see if she's hard enough to take out. I got a 1 oz. sample as a gift from a very dear friend. The supplier is The Sage. Let me tell you 1/2 oz. in a 2.75 pound batch is awesomely strong. I did 3 layers and scented each layer and then swirled on the top layer. Now, I gotta tell you my boo boo. I got so excited because my neon colors were perfect and my swirl looked so cool. Well, I started cleaning up my mess and turned around and low and behold I had not put my darn dividers in. My heart just dropped. I grabbed them and very gently pushed them in. It caused the sides to slightly turn up (kinda like the roof on a japanese pagoda), lol. So I figured I could just trim them down. Anyway, I'll get a pic when I can take them out. Hey, you got some cut soap porn to post yourself girlie!!!!! P.S. Send some of that wet stuff down my way woodja pleazzzzz?
  6. I just soaped Garnier Fructis from The Sage today and did in 3 layers just as Brenda does hers. I had plenty of time to work and I scented all 3 layers.
  7. Hi Tammie, I buy both the Morton Salt (yellow bag, blue writing) at Walmart and I just tried the Diamond Crystal Brand (or whatever brand from Home Depot). I think they only come in dime size pellets. I use them in my pool. I have an AquaCell that converts the sodium into chlorine. Maybe people are grinding them up. I haven't used them for bath salts. HTH
  8. AJ, I put it in J223 and a parasoy blend and it's awesome and amazingly strong!!!!! I wouldn't give a second thought....just get it!
  9. I'm soooooo jealous. I just soaped my Kelsei and forgot to put the dividers in it. I hate when I do that. I sure could have used that knife. I was looking at the Kelsei 18 bar mold but I'm liking the idea of the Misty Creek much better. At least I won't have to worry about forgetting to put in the dividers, lol.
  10. My, my, my!!!!! Isn't this the company that Kimberly or someone was trying to do a soap colorant coop and never received any response to emails? I bookmarked it at that time but it's gone now!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Great job Sharon!!!!! Love, love the Green Tweed. I just finished sopaing Garnier Fructis this morning. I can't wait to yank it out of the mold.
  12. I've been hearing lots of talk about this FO but haven't had the chance to sample it. Love the colors and swirls. Great job!
  13. Lemon Blossom is part of her regular line so she has info available about those oils. As for the "Scent Event" oils, reference this link http://www.candlecocoon.com/scentevent.html it might help you out. HTH
  14. Lovely Lip Soothers Brenda!!!!! I really love the ovals and need to get some to play with soon.
  15. Absolutely gorgeous soaps Sherri-Lee. The Pink Peppercorn is my fav with Sweet Pomegranete and the Graces' coming in tied for second. Beautiful swirls, your family will love them!!!!!
  16. Have you checked Essentials by Catalina? I know they have several different types of containers and usually offer a selection of colored tops.
  17. Oh yeah, those look fabulous. Awesome colors and swirl. I think it's perfect for that scent. Love, love, love SW's Bay Rum.
  18. Awesome colors girlie!!!!!! I can definitely vouch for the scent, love it!!!!!!
  19. I love it and use it all the time. It's really better to enter your inventory in the beginning before you start making batches. You can add inventory as you go but then you have to resave all your recipes if you want them to be accurate. I made a written inventory list (that included shipping costs) and then entered everything into the program. I think it took me 2 days. It's awesome to keep track of exact amounts of supplies, especially FO's. I can't say enough about this program!
  20. Yep, what AJ said. Mine is from IFT and it's a super speed racer for sure!!!!
  21. I think I saw the small bubbled bubble wrap at Target. I wanted to get some to try out as well. HTH
  22. LOL, motivation girlie, use it to your advantage!!!!!!! :highfive: Don't forget positive praise, they feed on it, lol!
