  1. Thank you I will have to check it out. I really like Fragrance Buddy so I am assuming it is probably pretty good. I have only ordered a few samples from SOS and hated them all. Karen in MA
  2. I poured the RE Campfire Marshmallow in 444. I am having a hard time telling much of a difference between that and Bonfire Bliss. I find other than the sweet note there is a dusky almost powdery scent to it. Karen in MA
  3. Sorry I am just seeing this. Trappeur thank you for the offer but I already ordered some and they arrived yesterday. I am going to try one today and then see how it goes. Karen in MA
  4. So I have a great wholesale customer of mine looking for a Bleach scent, yes you read that right. I know SOS has some of these horrible fragrances but the reviews on both the bleach and chlorine scents are not good. Does anyone have a recommendation on a decent bleach scent. I am assuming they are looking for that just scrubbed clean scent but not the perfume laundry scent. Thanks, Karen in MA
  5. Okay with all this talk of RE marshmallow I think I will put it in some wax today. Bonfire Bliss is a great seller for me so hoping it is good. I will let you all know how it smells later. Karen in MA
  6. This wick is an eco 1. I am going to order some CD wicks as Trappeur suggested. Karen in MA
  7. It is 444. The jars are 2 oz jars from Aztec dimensions 2 3/4" Tall x 1 1/2" Diameter Karen in MA
  8. Good morning, I ordered some really cute 2 oz jars to test to add to my favor line. I am not really pleased on the wicks. The recommended wick from Aztec was a premier 715 but it said it was not good for Soy. I used an Eco 1 3" that I have for my other small candles. It needs to be 3" as the jar is tall. This was after about an hour and 20 minutes. I know I need to probably go smaller but that puts me more in the votive size and they are usually only 1" long. Any suggestions? The jar is super cute though so I really want to make it work. Thanks, Karen in MA
  9. Good morning everyone, I just called Fillmore to see where they stood on the FO issue. At this time they have not changed anything and I was told if any reformulating happens they will make it very visible on their web site. I just ordered and received 12 pounds of FO from them yesterday so should be good for awhile. I have been ordering extra on lots of floral and citrus to stock up so hopefully it won't be an issue for me. I will have enough FO to last me for the next 10 years. I wonder if this will effect Lebermuth or is that where we will have to go to if everyone else runs out. Karen in MA
  10. Thank you, I did know that he had reopened and I did actually go to his new site to see if he had it but it is on back order as are many of the fragrances he used to carry. I will probably stick with Keystone for any reordering as she has been really nice and up front about everything from the start. Thanks, Karen in MA
  11. Good evening, Has anyone found a successful replacement for Peaks Winter Wonderland? I am in need of about 8 oz and Keystone still has not stocked it. I figured I would try here before emailing my customers to say I am out. Thanks, Karen in MA
  12. Okay everyone with the very creative minds I need a new name for this. Here is the scent description: buttery , sweet chocolate & nutty top notes with long lasting creamy vanilla and cotton candy bottom notes. I already have an Elf Farts and a Reindeer Poo but I cannot do a Santa Farts. I am thinking of something that is more generic not Christmas or Santa. Does anyone have any suggestions or better yet have you poured this yet? Karen in MA
  13. Thank you for the offer GailC but I actually had some of that here so we used that as a comparison. This was a rush reorder so we went with Amish Quilt from Rustic Essentials. I went back and forth between that and Celtic Moonspice. 4 pounds of it should be here today so I can pour her 60 rush candles, I love the holidays. Karen in MA
  14. This is the scent description: Our spice market fragrance oil captures the explosion of aromas with strong notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and just a hint of the exotic. I never gave it much of a thought as I had a pound here but a customer ordered 3 cases of 16 oz and 3 cases of 8 oz in that scent so a pound was not going to cut it. I ended up ordering 4 pounds of Amish Quilt last night as I needed it for a rush and I had a sample here to compare it to. It is not an exact match but it is close. I was comparing Amish Harvest, Amish Quilt, Harvest from Indiana Candle, Celtic Moonspice and Amish Spice Bread. I was just hoping that someone knew of an exact match, you know something renamed with a different company. Karen in MA.
  15. Good evening everyone, I just went to reorder Spice Market from CS and it is discontinued. I am in desperate need of a replacement for this. I searched here in the forum but did not see anything. Does anyone have a suggestion for a replacement? Karen in MA
  16. I love the Mulberry from Fillmore, you should give it a try. Karen in MA
  17. Just one is sooooo hard but I think I would have to say Apples and Maple Bourbon from CS a close second would be Hummingbird from NG. Karen in MA
  18. I have used it in 444 with good results. I just received some of the new scents yesterday. I really like the Wassail a def mulled cider scent. I am not sure on the white birch scent yet, I have to put that in wax. The cranberry woods is very tart smelling OOB. Karen in MA
  19. I have poured the Cider Donut and the Nutty Caramel Crisp. I have all of the ones mentioned above except for the new tobacco one and will be ordering that one later today. I love all their oils except for the Leather one, I was not thrilled about that one. The Nutty Caramel Crisp has a nice sweet nutty smell. So far so good. I have not poured the donut recently but if I remember correctly I was not impressed, I though it should have been a bit sweeter. On a side note I am so excited they are going to start carrying the 4 oz mason jars. Karen in MA
  20. Good morning everyone, I am trying to come up with a new name for Blonde Moment. I am thinking it is just not going to sell well with that name. What does everyone call their Blonde Moment or do you just keep the name. Thanks, Karen in MA
  21. Trappeur I use the Candy Corn from The Candle Source. It has been a great seller for me, I use 444. Karen in MA
  22. I like this news about them reopening but am a bit angry he did it this way. I know he has personal stuff going on but I know myself and probably thousands others have spent unnecessary money in testing oils to get ready for the upcoming busy holiday season. This makes me leary on how long he will stay open, hopefully it goes well and he will be open again for a very long time but I know I will be stockpiling the much needed fragrances while I can. Karen in MA
  23. I know this is late in replying but I have always had great luck with the Fresh Coffee from CS. I also sell a ton of Brazilian Coffee & Pure Cane from Aztec, it has a more cream and sugar kind of smell or what we here in MA call a regular coffee. Karen in MA
  24. So I got 3 orders today with some scents to test as replacements. So far I am not doing to good. I will say that as a few have already said Almond Creme from RE is very similar to Almond Pastry OOB. The birthday cake from RE was good and actually similar to Cookies for Santa but the oil itself is very dark. I also got birthday cake from The Chemistry Store and it smells similar OOB but I am unsure if it is as dark in color as the RE one. So far none of the holiday scents are even close to Winter Wonderland or Holiday sparkle almost all of the scents I have tried all have a heavy note of what seems like eucalyptus even though not listed in the description. Karen in MA
  25. Charlie Libengood at Maple Street Candle is having many of the Peak scents duped. Check out his post on his Facebook page. Karen in MA
