kids soap. What are the most requested kids soaps? I am going to try and make m&p glycerine soap and don't know what scents to start with. Any suggestions????

I am confused too! Those are votives and should be burned in a snug fitting container or they will make a mess all over your wine bottles. The candlemaker should have mentioned this to you.

Hi Eugenia, Does this castile soap lather well??? I am curious and want to try it. Thanks!! My favoriute beginner recipe is 90% Olive Oil 10% Casotr Oil Super mild and great for sensitvie skin. This is a castile soap and a staple in my line. I leave this one uncolored and fragrance free.

Looks as though they got warm and bled abit. Plus the top layer is too thin and they look like they got a little banged up during their travels to your home.

Since I am a candlemaker and have been wanting to try my hand at soaps I am going to try making a Citrus Smoothy Soap. I just went down and purchased all my supplies. My son gave me a couple of soap making books for Christmas and this recipe sounds yummy. The sad part is says I have to wait 1-3 weeks before I can use it. I hope it works!!!!

hemp oil in making soap? I want to try making soap again and was thinking about using the hemp (unrefined) oil. I don't have a recipe, but it suggests making it using a cold process. If anyone has one they would like to share I would greatly appreciate it.

I didn't post for 2006, but I always set goals for myself. 1. Get more wholesale accounts. I have about 40 accounts and want to double it this year to 80. Not sure how I am going to do it but I didn't know how I was going to get the first 40. 2. Quadruple my candle business income. 3. Start my new publication. Top secret until it gets published. 4. Create my new B&B product line. I was out of town and the brand new hotel had the cutest B&B products in the room that I want to duplicate. 5. Work on two new products to add to my product line. Already have 1. 6. Think smarter!!! 7. No more craft shows. That is going to be the hardest one to give up. I hope I can achieve at least half of these.....

I used to make my candles look perfect by topping them off. Now I don't I leave them natural and rustic looking. It doesn't bother me or my customers to have a little nip showing.

She did call me and want to come over to discuss more indepth about my business. I told her that I didn't feel comfortable and wanted to meet with her in her office and she said she worked from home and only went to the office once a week for a meeting. I told her that I really want to make sure she worked for this company and wanted to meet in a legit office. She said she would have to get back with me to meet at the office. She said she had to go and would call me to schedule a time to meet. No more emails or calls. I do have her name and number and the place where she said she worked at but have been so sick that I haven't had time to call to make sure she worked their. If it is even a real address or name, but I have her number... The whole conversation sounded weird. She really couldn't answer my questions. If someone was in the business they should be able to answer some of my questions. What a freak!!!
