I would think they'd be fine. I'd consider sealing them up in shrink wrap though so the scent doesn't fade. I know I'm going to give it a try. I'd like to find no stinking shrink wrap though.
I like to mix up my lye solution late at night when the kids are chilling & close to knodding off...then the next day I melt my oils & soap. Usually in the morning is their zoning time at the tv and I'm good to make a few batches.
When is it too late to have one in December? That's what I'm wondering. I usually do a Thursday night kind of thing. Love the theme "Cocktails & Candles" Or how about Booze, Bath & Body...LOL Anyway...I'm wondering if the week of the 12th is too late to have one this year. Any thoughts?
Is there any place to purchase simple tuck gift boxes for 3x3, 3x4 & 3x6 pillars? I want boxes for my candles to make them ship easier to wholesale accounts. Anyone know?
Now with lye pockets, should I simply rebatch the normal way...toss it in the microwave & let it cook again? It really shouldn't need additional water I would think...
I just cut my most beautiful batch of soap today...and I have lye pockets. I've never had these before..is the whole batch ruined? Or just the slices that I see with the pockets?
I've done this too... Take a jelly roll pan & turn the mold upside down on top of it. Warm your oven on the lowest setting...mine is 170. The jelly roll pan will collect the wax & clean out your mold, ready for you to try gain.
Those are so FUNKAY....I love them, wouldn't they be fun to create too? I think I'm more intrigued with the process & the outcome. Its not something I'd have all over my house, but that's some serious artwork in wax!
