  1. Thank you for all the great advice!! I am definitely going to try a few of the suggestions.
  2. I just made RE's Butternut Pumpkin 2 weeks ago. I only used 6% because I wasn't sure about the spicy factor. So far the soap has not turned brown, just a little tan. The scent is not really strong but I can smell it. I really like Butternut Pumpkin in soy so I hope this soap will be a good companion to the candle.
  3. Wow, I never thought of using Mistletoe in soap. What percent do you find works for you? I do cphp..I have bcn mistletoe, I think I will give it a try.
  4. Thanks for all the replies! I am not too fond of CS's Lavender. I never tried it in soap, but in candles it is not what I am looking for. I think I will try some from Camden, I would love to us EO for my lavender soap. If that doesn't cut it I guess I will try some from TCS though I don't order from them much. I have never ordered from Peaks and I'm not sure I want to open that can of worms. Should I???? Add another supplier that is??? OK what else is really order worthy from peaks or is that another thread??
  5. I have tried Eo's and Fo's and so far I cannot find one that sticks. I have tried wsps 40/42 eo (way too expensive) that faded. Soapsupplies.nets lavender fo, that faded. Flickers-french lavender, not the one I was looking for. Please, any suggestion on a really great lavender that sticks in soap??
  6. If you have a Michaels near bye, look in the soap section, they have a small jar, I can't remember how much it was, but it was pretty reasonable. I don't think edible glitter would hold up too well. I'm sure it would melt after a few days.
  7. I also do hp, I have had a few fade or I guess needed more fo. I usually do 8 or 9 % for the first time using a scent. If you don't mind sharing, where is the pumpkin cheesecake fo from?
  8. That is really cute!! How did the scent hold up? I make my soap molds out of 1/2 foam board, that way I can make them any size I want. I line the mold with parchment paper. I'm pretty sure there is a tutorial on this board on how to line a soap mold. Very cute though! I wonder if Michaels has a pumpkin mold. I will look.
  9. This is gorgeous! What swirl method did you use??
  10. Candle Science's Clean Cotton is a great replacement!
  11. I have never had a problem ordering from her, she has always worked with me, especially when I change my order on her. I read some posts of others having problems getting a hold of her, and figured I better have a plan b. I am so relieved I won't have to find replacements!
  12. Gena just emailed me and said she is still in business, had computer problems. I'm so happy!
  13. carol k did you try the apple crumb pie??
  14. NT Have you tried Fragrance Oil Centrals Cinnamon Bun? It was Scent for Soys CB. It is the best Cinnamon Bun!
  15. NaturallyTru....you are lucky you don't know what it smelled like! It is the best pine ever! I tried Christmas Bliss years ago, I don't think that is a straight pine at all. Try the Blackberry Sage from RE, the Soap N Candles version. It is really great in soy and cp! I soooo hope Gena is taking summer break and we hear from her soon! Has anyone tried Rustic Essentials Apple Cinnamon or Alaskan Wilderness?
  16. Looking for replacements for Heartfelts Apple Danish and Rocky Mt Pine. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  17. Yes, that is what I noticed....and I'm not sure which I like better, but since her patchouli passion price pre buy price ends tonight, I think I'm heading over there for a pound. Any one use patch passion in soy or soy blend??
  18. I have Native Princess, and to my nose it does not smell at all like Patch Honey, to me Patchouli Passion is similar to Patch Honey.
  19. Is Wildfire's more on the spicy side?? I am looking for a replacement for FOH's Pumpkin Spice, for some reason Elements will not carry it.
