The Celtic myst is so unusual! I really like it! Sakura Hana sounds interesting, I'll have to check that out. All of them are really nice.

I am testing sweet sandalwood from candlewic in 85%soy 15% para right now and so far its doing really great! I also like c&s's sandlawood though its not as strong as I like. Millcreeks soothing sandalwood is strong but more on the powdery side. I mixed 1/2 mc's and 1/2 c&s's I have not test burned it yet but the ct is good.

I have used wsp's euphoria and rain forest eo blends and they are both very strong and last very long in cp. I only use 3% with them...I learned the hard way. I don't have a problem with shipping.

I just got a sample of Millcreeks Musk....it's really nice in a candle. Musk-Yankee type This much requested scent opens with top notes of bergamot, lime, and geranium, leading to middle notes of lavender, petit grain, herbal green, fir needle, and rosemary, wrapped in a base of woody, oak moss, musk and amber. Body Safe. FP205

My problem with them is they don't keep the same fo. I ordered pumpkin spice for soy last February, it was really wonderful. I order 5#'s of it in July, totally different fo. NOT GOOD!!!!! GIANT waste of money, horrible fo. On an up side, shipping was really fast!

The sodium lactate I bought at wsp, I use 2%. I usually put .2 oz of sugar in a batch, maybe a little more for a larger batch.

Luminous_I wanted to add I use a soy para blend. If you use paraffin NG may work for you. OR maybe I got a bad batch from NG. Hope it works for you! Noodle what type of wax do you use?

I have also found that when I keep it on low I have a lot more time to play with it. My batches used to get hard over cooked flecks when I cooked on high the first 10 minutes. Once the soap is in the crock pot I don't touch it, I keep an eye on it and let it gel. If it starts to rise to the top I shake the crock pot. Only time I touch it is if it is expanding too much which is rare, that usually happens if lye was too hot. I like the texture better the less it's stirred.
