  1. I have been doing a bunch of experimenting. I have been doing soap for about 6 months. Blackberry Sage The chunks are HP, they got too fushia pink so I decided to chunk. It is still brighter than I wanted. Rainforest EO Blend...same thing. HP chunks...hp got too colorful. I like this one. Midnight Pomegranate....tried to swirl...had too much of a trace. London....finally getting closer to understanding what the right trace is to start swirling.
  2. Wonderful! I read one of you posts from a while ago, that you don't melt the butters and oils...but use the heat of the lye to melt them. Is this how you did these?? When you use that method, do you get a gel? I made a few small batches that way and so far I like it a lot!!
  3. Man you are on a roll!! All the soaps you have posted the past few weeks are top notch!!!
  4. That is FABULOUS!!! I thought the thumbnail was a pic of actual patch leaves....or some other plant. Cannot wait to see cut pics!
  5. Is your wax unscented..you may not want to pour scented wax around the cord...the fo could eat away the plastic. I am not sure if your wax is scented or not but thought I would let you know.
  6. What type of wax do you use these in?? I am in driving distance of them....but only use red apple peel....I don't like most of their fo's I have tried..and since they don't give samples..and don't have reasonable priced samples I don't try them too often. I only use them for wicks and wax.
  7. They posted info here http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79493

  9. Ohhh...those are cool!! Very whimsical! What is on top of the pink sugar?
  10. I was so happy when I went to the web site and saw they are under new ownership.....it says they are in the process of stocking up. :yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:
  11. I do not wick up on that one.
  12. I love it too! I works great in soy.
  13. LOL...the lights don't light up...they are resin that looks like wood, I wish I had more of them. I used this great gadget to make the hats called a micro stitch 2 to "stitch" the hats. I thought it was an odd tool when my friend gave it to me, but I have used it a bunch of times in a pinch. I used it last minute to attach fur to my son's wearwolf costume, it's a great thing! LOL My fingers are too sore to actually sew anything right now. Oh yeah....the gingerbread house is made of graham crackers....I used to make them every year...they are ornaments.
  14. These are electric, I will post a picture of one lit up when I get the next bunch of orders done. I only sell these local, I don't think they would make the shipping process. They are all scented in cinnamon gingerbread. They do take some time, but I do them in batches. I cake decorated for 10 years...and I used to enter gingerbread contests. This was a way to incorporate my cake decorating with wax...LOL. And they last for a long time, unlike intricate real gingerbread houses. Thanks for the nice compliments!
  15. Those are really nice, I especially like the gold ones.
  16. To me....Heartfelts Apple Danish can't be beat! Second...Snowtop now at ICS Baked Apple.
  17. I made this mold a few years ago....it is 5#'s of silicone. Luckily it worked the first try. It was a pain.
