  1. same problem with NG, the candles i can get pink but the body sprays turn orange instead of pink becuase of all the yellow tint to the oil. :undecided
  2. there is a good thread here. Different preservatives have different applications, such as the heat it can be added at or the oil/water percentage of your product, etc. MMS has some preservative info on their site too. http://www.thescentreview.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=1130
  3. http://www.rian2products.com
  4. I believe taylored concepts has that scent, either puppies breath or fresh puppies breath or both
  5. No I wouldn't. This product is for people that complain of anything "greasy". Whereas butter people want something with more heft to it if you know what I mean. I carry lotion, butter and the glaze
  6. I love this stuff too, I already have lotion in a pump bullet bottle, so I sell the glaze in a malibu 8 oz from MMS.
  7. I noticed mine was a bit sticky because it was in my hot garage.
  8. JBN and Willow Woods are both great. The JBN didn't mix with my room spray (sank to the bottom), so I use the WW for spray and the JBN for everything else.
  9. Well I now have a few pounds up for sale if you'd like! I'm really surprised that was the culprit but the two good batches are still fine, not mushy, and not clumping either.
  10. it's a pale beige, no off tones. Try a dash of red color to counteract your green.
  11. I used a crock pot before I knew of better ways. It took forever to melt wax and there is no specific temp control. Save yourself the trouble and either use a double boiler method with a pour pot or can or what have you or get a presto pot. Prestos are not that expensive at wally world and if you quit making candles then you can make french fries.
  12. That wax does have a slick feel to it, I would say mix it with votive wax and use it for the tarts
  13. I used a smidge of brown, like 1 drop in a 3 lb pot.
  14. I had a previous post about my bath salts going mushy/soupy and thought I'd given an update Original recipe sea salt epsom salt dead sea salt dendritic salts sunflower oil FO & color test Batches 1. Same as original receipe without the epsom 2. Same as original recipe without the dendritic 3. Same as orinal recipe without dendritic and with silica gel Only batches 2 and 3 that are without the dendritic turned out well. So, I'm dropping the dendritic salts no more bath salt soup for me!
  15. those are gorgeous! I've just made jar candles in a blackberry color. I'll take a pic when I get my camera back that I left at a friend's house.
  16. I swear I've heard of this type of problem with people using their debit cards at gas stations too and if they had a really low balance, actually had things bounce. That when they swiped the card it automatically held 25 or 50 bucks before you filled up.
  17. Needing to find shows, wondering if this is worth the 49 bucks? I like that you can search by zip code and get reviews from other crafters.
  18. I used to live by a Paper & Party that had a lot of different bags, not sure if there is one near you
  19. "those" relatives at Christmas are going to think they're pretty darn special to receive those! LOL Nice job MIchael.
  20. mix EZ soy with J223, or C3 soy with J223. Just by Nature and Greenleaf have a 70/30 pre-blend that don't frost
  21. I had seen on another board the DC from Lonestar was good in soy. I still haven't poured my sample we got at TCC though.
  22. I use it too, soy blend and in B&B:)
  23. I use salesdepartment.com my site is www.kissesforthesoul.com You can click on their logo at the bottom of my site to contact them. Very happy with the service
