topofmurrayhill
I think it looks pretty slick. I don't know what you intended, but what you got looks intentional and kind of artsy.

younggrasshper
thank you everyone! the nice comments make me want to keep making more! I think the frosty part is because I put the mold in the freezer to get a skin going so i could pour the layer and the mold got cold! I think, everyone I show seems to like it so i'm going to try that again!
Mozzie
Wow, I think the different layers look really effective. I'd be thrilled to have poured that candle no matter how many I'd done before . Great job.

The_Dallas_Texas_Dean
I like your color choice VERY MUCH, and find it to be a beautiful and unique candle! Be PROUD of that for your first!!!! I wouldn't have a clue how to make that since I have never made a Pillar, but I know what looks good to me! Way to go!

Right now I have a hurricane in a water bath, HP soap in a crockpot and just finished cutting CP soap from yesterday!

Mtngrl
Great 1st efforts, to be sure, & I love all the colors of green you're using.I do wonder about the safety of your 'canes. What kind of wax did you use? What I'm really wondering about is the melt point of the wax. Are the diamters at least 5"?
younggrasshper
lol, no but thats what I get for jumping into things with out completely researching everything. i just made them for myself and wasn't planning on burning them ( I was going to get the battery operated tealight candles for them) but my husband burned one with out me knowing and melted it. it didnt go anywhere just misformed. I've since found new molds but i'm out of wax. I'm just using parafin for them, and I dont plan on ever selling them.
