JanetsCandles
When you pull a candle from a silicone mold while it is still too warm. Just because you "can" pull it, doesn't mean you SHOULD pull it. By the way, the "oops" version started out looking like the normal version. Detail doesn't work really well with the color, but these are owl candles. Walked away after pulling the first one, came back and that's what he looked like. puma52
Oh that owl!!! Poor thing...sure looks a little under the weather doesn't he?? It is TOTALLY against human nature to have to wait too long before we can take our creations out of the molds to see what they look like..... HEE HEE...Been there done that!! Love your other owl !! wildwings
Too bad it was not a snowman or you could market it as a "Once Their Was A Snowman" set. I often catch my self doing the same thing, I need to work on my patience.

JanetsCandles
The whole thing cracked me up. I'm just glad wax is so forgiving in the fact that I can remelt and repour it. And it helps that my 6 year old was actually upset because I killed the owl.
Dolcibugie
My fat white cat sleeps in the same position! ahah!I use silicone molds too, for my cake candles, and I have had some of this problems. Unfortunately, we have to wait, it's the only way to have beautiful candels!
