kcollins78
Does anybody have a rundown as to which Peak Christmas FO's throw well in soy? I can't resist their sale, and in my cart are Spruce Christmas TreeFrench VanillaRed CurrantHome for the HolidaysWinter WonderlandPurely PeppermintCreme BruleeHollyberry & IvyI've been working with CB135 but am having an awful time with gloppy tops from the low pour temps so I'm going to order and play around with some GW464 as well... Georgia
Don't know if it will help, but there is a sticky at the top of the veggie wax forum that has FO's that throw well in soy. Peak is in post #
kcollins78
Don't know if it will help, but there is a sticky at the top of the veggie wax forum that has FO's that throw well in soy. Peak is in post #7Thanks for pointing me there! Several of the ones I named were there, but that list is from 2008 - if anybody knows if any of the following (not on the list, maybe they're newer than 2008?) have good throw I'd really appreciate it.Spruce Christmas TreeRed CurrantWinter WonderlandPurely PeppermintHollyberry & Ivy
TallTayl
Cranberry Apple Marmalade is my all time fave for soy. Simply awesome in everything I've tried (soap, lotion, wax melts, candles, room spray).
Faerywren
Sugar plum berries throws like a beast for me in my 464/4630(paraffin) blend.
Georgia
I use a soy/paraffin blend, but Purely Peppermint is what prompted me to get a respirator when pouring. I use it at 3% and it is a winner!
Darbla
Georgia, is 'Purely Peppermint' a strong sharp mint like the EO, or is it a sugared peppermint like candy? From the name I suspect it's sharply minty like the EO (which is what I want) but would like to ask and be sure.
Georgia
It is definitely a sharp mint!
