If you can't get a single wick to work, you might try 2CD5's as a starting point.

Ha - the thread is alive again. :smiley2: For some reason I did not answer an earlier posters question to me. I did not have any better or worse wet spots in glass with 6098 than 4627. The reason I used 6098 for tins and 4627 for glass at the time was that I really liked the more translucent vibrant look of 4627 in glass than with 6098. Also I got a 4 year old box of 6098 from a supplier that stores their wax in a warehouse that is not climate controlled. I did not have confidence that I could get consistent boxes of 6098. And it is more expensive than 4627. Coincidently, I have in the last two weeks recommended 6098 to two people here. Maybe I can single handedly create a 6098 craze

There is the obligatory "that depends" but to try to be helpfull: For the average candle and soap website that does not have its own ordering system, no forum, and does not capture and store customer information, that should be enough. With the previous restrictions the bulk of the disk space will be product images. The bandwith in the above case is mainly going to be the images people view. So the deciding factors are how many images on the site, how many people visiting per month, and how many pages each person looks at on the site -- very hard to predict.

Many times the drivers built into the operating system are more "generic" than from the manufacturer of the equipment. I would suggest to get the latest drivers from the manufacturer's web site. I have found in my 30 year computer career that many times the drivers in the box for many things are already out of date before you open the box. As a rule whether for home or work, I automatically go see if there is a newer driver available.

I would be too if I wasn't chasing the non-existent perfect candle even though I know there's no such thing. Maybe next year I'll learn and join the fun. :smiley2:

I use Millcreeks and I like it in 4627. I have not tried Lonestar's.

This is part of my standard production process. My production wax is IGI4627. I have not had wet spots produced by using the broiler to melt the tops in the two years I have been doing this. One needs to carefully work out how far from the broiler element and for how long but I set the jars tops 4" below the element and for the first "batch" set the automatic timer on the oven for 4 minutes. I set the automatic timer on the oven for 3 minutes for each subsequent batch.. I use the automatic timer so that there is no possibility of me forgetting and having a fiery disaster.

Smells GOOOD in 4627. Not a wicker upper for me.

Work it into the furniture. :smiley2: I got two boxes of 4627 as a coffee table and two boxes as a computer monitor stand.
