Darbla
I'm trying to find a pikaki or plumeria or whatever scent that would be like the flowers used in a Hawaiian lei. What would you recommend for a Hawaiian lei type floral that doesn't smell overly fake and perfumey? Wessex
I like Hawaiian Breeze from Lonestar. I've also tried the one from CS, but like the LS one better. Not too perfumey IMO.Cheers,Steve
TheWickedWick
I like Hawaiian Ginger from Southern Garden Scents...really nice..my favorite. I've also used Plumeria from CS and like it a lot although it is a bit perfumy but sells really well.
Candybee
Plumeria are the traditional lei flowers. Another tropical floral is orchid. My grandmother used to have an orchid garden in her backyard when she lived in Hawaii. It smelled wonderful.
Scented
Hibiscus is the state flower. What about a blend of Hibiscus and Plumeria, maybe with a dash of Frangipani too. Elements should have a scent like Hawaiian Hibiscus I think is the name. Hibiscus and Thai Palm might be good. I think BCN has/had it at one time.Pikaki appears to be widely available too. LuminousBoutique
My parents live in Maui and my mom has a plumeria tree in her yard.. the plumeria from CS is a spot on plumeria for the tree.. hers are pinkthe white and yellow have a slightly lighter scent, but more "creamy" if that makes sense.. both if placed in a bowl smell like CS Plumeria to us
