grneyeldy
I don't like the color but I had to work with what they sent in my kit (pink and canary yellow....lol) They are scented Hot Apple Pie and I used EcoSoy Adv. CT is quite strong. Even though I can't stand the scent now, I can't wait to test them Criticism welcome Thanks for looking!

grneyeldy
Thank you all for the compliments The color is more peachy in the picture than they are. They are more orange than peach, quite a bit brighter than they look on here....none the less, I still don't like the color...lol. I really enjoyed creating them though...it was fun, just have to keep my boys away from them. They got grubby little finger prints all over them before I took the pictures Other than the 'interesting' color I think they turned out pretty good for a first attempt! AnjieBurdett
They look fab! Well done. Now comes the fun part - NOT - the testing of the wicks ;0) Nearly drove me mad and I still can't wick anything bigger than a 3" container lol.Anjie,x. nmhoneybear
LOLWhy can't you stand the scent now? I'd be more than happy to take them off of your hands and test 'em for you! They are gorgeous.

grneyeldy
Ravens - I got the kit from Canwax, the instructions were not bad but I think had I not read so much on here before making them I probably would have had a million questions....they lacked detail and were fairly vague.nmhoneybear - I liked the scent at first but after pouring them the scent nauseated me and gave me a terrible headache. I am hoping it was just that particular FO because I am not normally a scent sensitive person Now that a few days have passed I can tolerate the scent but I still don't like it...lolThanks all, for the compliments! candle_man
Wow, vary nice job!!! If I could only get the frost out of mine.... http://www.craftserver.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=20952&d=1290295227
donna4909
I've had the same issue with a few FO's. Now I just try to always make sure I have plenty of ventilation. Some fragrances are mild or average OOB, but then surprise you by being almost overwhelming in a pour pot.I had a coffee fragrance like that. I ended up throwing it away after just a few votives. Candleman: I gotta admit, I love that frost! The blue looks absolutely gorgeous for winter! Which wax are you using?

I have tried everything to prevent it. Best I have been able to do is heat the room to 85deg. and still get a little frost. I think I will try the ecosoy advance next.
